    Aye, profit over progress.
  2. Give me someone with optimism and positivity. Someone with passion and pride. It could be Ginola, it could be Ketsbaia, it could be the bloke who makes the pies. Someone who can inspire and excite, that's all I ask.

    Shola Ameobi

I've decided to support whichever club he ends up at.
  4. BM nails what we've been trying to say in slightly more polite terms
  5. The ridiculousness of giving it to Qatar doesn't bear thinking about. They failed in every aspect of the report except the brown envelope test. Nice job FIFA. http://baccalabloggala.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/james-van-der-beek-clapping-gif-dawson-b7279382-sz624x350-animate1_zpse885157d.gif
  6. Aye, but you know Shola will probably only be here for another year. This cunt could be the next Alan Smith.
  7. I'd actually rather just give Shola a new contract.
  8. So he's injury prone as well as not being prolific? Sounds great.
  9. Possibly that only counts when we're making a loss though. Can't see that being the case as it'd mean the whole spiel was just an excuse for FMA to spend fuck all.
  10. U wot m8 Club's standing on it's own two feet remember? We only spend the money the club makes and we made £60m profit last season so let's get shopping.

    Please take Shola.
  12. Yep, glad we're such a well run club we can now afford to sign shit ex mackems on a free.
  13. We need a goalscorer really and Bendtner hasn't scored consistently anywhere he's been. And he's a c***. a fit bendtner could easily score 10+ for us...needs to play regular mind. I do not agreed he´s a c***, but he is not far from! As i said, this is he´s last chance....and he knows it! He's scored 10+ goals in a season once in his career, for Brum in the championship. We have £60m, i'd rather we got in a proven, high quality goalscorer.

  16. "It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging" For many people this is what Ashley and Pardew, not to mention other United employees in recent years, has driven out of the club. They can only drive it out if we let them though... We have already let them. It seems that in my lifetime NUFC is a shell of its former self although I may be looking through rose-tinted glasses. I agree, but that's something only we can change. Even if all the tossers at NUFC f***ed off and we got some billionaire arab pouring money in it would still take us to make the noise and the passion come back. They can never, ever take your sense of belonging. Modern football is w*** but the fans can change that if they stick together, whether it be at each individual club or collectively in terms of ticket pricing and/or safe standing, etc. Our fans are incapable of any sort of agreement on anything. To a degree, aye. I agree. http://www.theboredninja.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/aliens_guy.jpg
  17. Wouldn't surprise me if FMA bumped up his basic for the new contract to maximise his compensation when England come calling
  18. Bet Pablo and Jose are best buds in that team.

  20. Money's slowly consuming the game and Fifa are totally facilitating it. Facilitating is mild. FIFA positively encourage and welcome money. That's what it's about for them.

    St James' Park

He'd go straight through the roof, the fat mess. You really quoted a 17 day old post to say Mick Lowes is fat?

    St James' Park

That's one thing that's in our hands. He'll never take what this club is. My son will know just like my little nieces and nephews know now. It'll take a much bigger and fatter man to kill that. What you're railing against is the money market football has become. Years ago when we became a PLC they told us that football is all about money now. They were right. Very few care about the glory of silverware, it's just about getting on the gravy train and staying there. It makes me sick.
