Wouldn't mind us getting Keirrison in, his scoring record apart from Benfica is decent and we do need another striker. He might not be the next Shearer but he will improve the team at least. Onuoha is a good player too, would be pretty happy if we signed both of them and, now that the initial shock has worn off, Obertan too.

I don't think that will stop us trying to sign him as one or playing him as one.

Gameiro -> Gervinho -> Erding -> Obertan -> DJ Campbell -> Carlton Cole Him and Campbell are the two rungs on the ladder left to fall through before we finally, inevitably sign Carlton Cole.

If Barton's in a huge huff then there's always a chance he could go in hard on someone in training and do some damage too. Not necessarily saying he'd do it on purpose but he's a hothead at the best of times and I wouldn't want him tackling our own team with his head where it's at right now.

Not sure about that. The management have never given a crap about what the fans want or think, I don't see it as being a particularly strong influence on them whether we want him here or not.

If we get Erdinc for £6.5m then I think we've done quite well in the transfer market over the last 6 months. We've snapped up some quality players for smallish fees and got some real bargains but I can't help but feel that there must be at least enough cash to splash out on just one player. I'm not advocating going back to the high spending days that left the club in such a state but £9m - £10m for a player of Zogs quality who would improve the side so much shouldn't be beyond our reach. Paying over the odds just once should be possible if it will benefit the side so much.

I think it's a load of crap to be honest. I've lived with Sunderland fans, had mackem mates, my mother is a sunderland supporter and while, yes, there is a lot of banter and rivalry it's never at the level you could describe as hatred. You always get some twats in every rivalry who take things way too far and that goes for every single one of them, not just the north east rivalry. Wait until West Ham play Millwall if you want to see some real hatred

Even if ya boss had to send 20 odd of you? Yes. We had to send that many people and more to company sales meetings throughout europe (Holland being one of the destinations) and it would never have crossed anyone's mind to do anything other than fly.
