Prime Shearer wipes the floor with both of them. Is it heresy to suggest that Prime Shearer wore blue and white? Not at all, 112 goals in 138 appearances. Drogba and Kane could only dream of being as good as he was.

I think it goes without saying that they mean when each player was in their prime. Why does that go without saying, Stifler? If there are temporal conditions to the question then they should be clearly stated, don't you think?

So how do they get out of this? Do nothing? Ain't going to work now, they have to make a decision and take a side. They're not fit for purpose and need to be reformed. Abolish the PL and bring the whole shebang back under the purview of either the FA or the government. If the big clubs cry and f*** off to form a european super borefest then all the better. I like the sentiment but it would actually destroy the English game No it wouldn't. English football existed long before the premier league and it'll do just fine without it. Fair enough, there might not be billion pound tv deals or £50 a month sports subscriptions but football will get along just fine without the premier league.

Start Kane because he's an actual player in his prime Bench Shearer because he's old and retired but could still rally the troops Sell Drogba because there was only three choices.

The PL haven't fucked themselves or painted themselves into a corner, they've simply been exposed for what they are. In an ideal world, the regulatory body would be neutral, wouldn't be beholden to influential stakeholders or commercial interests and decisions would be taken on a purely objective level. The premier league have shown themselves to be nothing more than a pliable instrument to be used by the rich and influential as a weapon to club down anyone that might challenge their elevated status. Competition is dead, corruption is the rule and if you're not in the club then fuck you, you're not getting in.

That Nigeria kit is a contender for greatest kit of all time. Up there with Our brown ale one and Fiorentina’s Nintendo shirt Maybe we're seeing different pictures.

Others may disagree, but I think that is an excellent letter, and (at last) someone has stopped "pussyfooting around" these EPL London and Top Six obsessed ("we are invulnerable") types. He will need to follow it up with the actual legal action of course, and if he needs financial assistance to do so, I'm sure that we and/or NUST, will be able to help him. I really enjoyed reading that letter !! Never make a threat you won't follow up. If they do, great, if they don't then......

Your kids play for the mackems, your wife buys Newcastle tops off Sports Direct. What happened to you, man?
-
Didn't your wife just buy official tops from Sports Direct?
-
Do you think? To me it seems impossible that the buyer has publicly withdrawn and can find a way back in. Just the loss of face from the PL would be huge now. I could see it if they can spin it that communication was ongoing and they get PIF to make some minor concession that they can inflate for PR purposes.

Pretty sure that’s what my csa works out being as well.

It's a joke. 55 people out of a job at a business paying hundreds of thousands a week to individual employees. Disgusting.

Could you try and hit them where it hurts? Organise a 'cancel sports day', maybe the last day of the transfer window, where everybody willing to do so calls Sky or BT or whoever and cancels their sports package.

The UK Government have just invested in OneWeb, would thy have acquiesced if the regulators wanted to to investigate the Queen and her personal business before they approved the deal? If there was an owners and directors test required for the purchase of one web then yes she would. If she had the power to make the decisions of course. Does she? You're mental if you actually believe that. The US govt can't even go after Prince Nonce-a-lot.
