  1. Clearly we can't sign Grenier and Lacazette until after the World Cup as they will be watching and it would be rude to interrupt their viewing pleasure. We understand culture at NUFC you see.

He was tiny but not as short as you imagined how small did you think he was? Pocket sized?

    Pierre-Michel Lasogga

Does he have the mental strength to be able to handle being hauled off when we are a goal down and he is playing well to be replaced by a centre half

So are Hertha and Hamburg though, I have no idea who this guy is except he has had one decent season. I remember the day when I had at least heard of our transfer targets.

    Bafetimbi Gomis

Alan Pardew is delighted to finally have the appreciation of Bafetimbi Gomis over the line. In a rare article the usually media shy Newcastle boss spoke frankly of his relief. 'Frankly I'm relieved' said Pardew 'I've been hoping he was going to appreciate us for some time and now that's it's finally happened I can say that this one is for the fans.' When questioned on whether he intended to strengthen his playing staff the Newcastle supremo was more forthright 'Listen this is the media all over, constantly looking for the negative angle, let's just enjoy the appreciation of Gomis for a few days and we will take stock after that. You need to realise that appreciation is not free, you all assume that, but it isn't and it can be really expensive if the appreciation lasts a few days.' When questioned about the impending signing of Colback he claimed to be in the dark 'I had a telephone conversation with a Sunderland official and after I explained that I was a busy man they asked if I would like a call back. I said yes and now it looks as though we may be signing someone who has yet to formally appreciate us. I'm livid and intend to throw the noggin in at the first opportunity' said the Toon boss who was quickly ushered away by Sports Direct officials in unsellable leisure wear.

  11. Mike Hooper could keep goal for Celtic FFS!!
  12. f*** that s***! Seeing the Liverpool tv pundit mafia having the smug smiles wiped off their faces has been f***ing priceless! Man City are very much the lesser of the evils in the title chase. Couldn't agree more, its ridiculous the number of ex players they have in the media and they all spout the same nonsense. It's always a penalty for them and the ref got it wrong. Redknapp epitomises that, he is just such a bias tvvat it's untrue
  13. Is he part orang utan
  14. Imagine what a pasta and pizza diet will do to him....
  15. Glenn Hoddle, who now believes that the footballing world has almost caught up with his forward think philosophies
  16. Good article from Don Hutchison which sums up the problem well. He is missing the point though in telling Ashley his time is up and he should sell. We are exactly what Ashley wants from the club. His philosophy is that cheap is good, mediocrity is the end game because it costs nothing and provides the advertising vehicle for his brand. If you go into his stores, they look like charity shops, cheap and mediocre pandering to a consumer that wants cheap and mediocre. That is undeniable as the profits show so why would he change that? Ambition means outlay and risk and he minimises risk at every turn. Buy a club who haven't won anything for decades but turn up in 10s of thousands and have a high media profile - small risk. Employ a manager who is at best mediore, will do as he is told and is just thankful to be in a premiership job - no risk. Minimal outlay to keep the club mid table but with enough profile to globally advertise his brand - no risk. He won't sell because this is where he wants to be
