like learning to dive in the deep end..... then the first board..... by the time we've reached top board we'll be dead
-
I also can't hear his name without thinking of Norman Wisdom..... Mr Grimsdale
-
If that's true count me in , just for the pure comedy value of having a keeper point at an aeroplane as the ball sails into his net
-
Dear me,an upgrade on Pope? I don't see it, hopeless with his feet as well
-
I think the keeper is less likely, ours number 1 target has gone so we'll stick with Pope/Dubravka

That won't work if Guehi doesn't want us to have the free run at Guehi

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

I might be in the minority but thats all I ever see from Miley, he's tidy. If he's going to fulfil his potential he needs to take more risks. His passing is 'tidy' but it's often 5 yards. He's young tho and will learn -

What in the name of holy hell is a beard season? He becomes the partner of a closet lesbian? -
If we criticise Isak for his behaviour, same applies to Wissa. Poor behaviour

I think Liverpool will offer player(s) plus cash

We need to remember they've had years of being the laughing stock of NE football. Of course they are going to go OTT when there's a sniff of it going the other way. It won't last

Never in the field of football transfers has so little, been done by so few to so many
-
He also didnt publicly announce he wanted to 'explore options'

Is there a scenario where we wnat to end up with Sesko and Isak? Isak has nailed his colours and i cant see a way back

Our negotiators turn up in over-size shoes, in a tiny car, the doors fall off and they pull hankies out of each other's mouths. Then they put a bid in that is commensurate with their look

I can confirm that the NUFC transfer glacier has move 0.0001 of an inch just today, so things are definitely speeding up. Strap in, it's gonna be a hell of a ride

Is there any recognition that in a PSR world if he really wants to win stuff, he's not getting that here for the foreseeable? We all know that 20 years ago he'd be signing up for life, because we'd be paying top rate and signing top rate players with him, but that's not now. Liverpool already had the cards and PSR have given them the bank. Their gloating is what is pissing me off more, like fat tories walking into an estate agent, buying everyone's dream home, laughing at them and making out like they're real estate geniuses.

That's because it only affects aspiring clubs, so 3 or 4. The top teams want it, the bottom teams probably want it because there's a chance they can beat teams like us. The teams it impacts most are us, villa and possibly spurs. So why would they change?

No surprise there, but to who? It can only be liverpool, who have spent ¼ billion pounds in this window already
