I don't get the Smith hate personally like. Granted, he's a very limited footballer. But in the Championship season, especially the first 10/15 games when everything was up in arms, he stood up and was counted. Was a very influential person to have around the place and really battled hard on the pitch despite obvious limitations. Wouldn't the FA Cup spot and the last Champions League place essentially just swap? Say Spurs were 4th, but Chelsea win Champions League and FA cup, the FA Cup spot would go to 4th, 5th get the normal EL spot and 6th (Chelsea) would get the Champions League spot?
