Very moving thread on RTG about from a fan who thinks this Sunday will be the last time he ever watches Sunderland. Puts things into perspective, poor bloke.

To be fair, I think Cisse and Ben Arfa could probably fill 10 between them!
-
1. Cisse (Chelsea) 2. Ben Arfa (Bolton) 3. Ben Arfa (Blackburn) 4. Raylor (Everton) 5. Cisse (Swansea) 6. Cabaye (Man U) 7. Cisse (Norwich) 8. Ba (Man U) 9. Ben Arfa (WBA) 10. Raylor (Sunderland)

Biggest game here in a while, win and I will actually believe were going in the Champions League. Lose and I'm still absolutely elated at the season we've had. Hope the lads get a cracking atmosphere, deserve it! -
Piers Morgan makes it worse.

Dont a few of yous follow him on twitter? What's his name, I love a good laugh on a Satuday morning.

Hope everyone stays, even if we get hammered. The lads deserve it -
Shame the first goal won't get enough credit, because that was a fucking strike as well. Taking nothing away from the second mind, my erection has just went down!

Never trust the Italians. Edit: In a bet I mean btw. -
Apparently we played Chelsea last October. Keep up the good work, Lee

Don't know like, we played Boro in 06/07 (think) and was 0-0, genuinely fuck all happened all game. Atmosphere was dire as well.

I backed Germany in November, got 4/1. Looked really good at WC and will be better now, the Germans seem to have it upstairs aswell whne it comes to knockout football. -
Really, really cannot apologise enough that Ronaldo, the fountain of all knowledge doesn't agree with me. I hope everyone can get over this. Alan Smith is a train wreck of a footballer, and I cringe everytime his name is on the teamsheet, and I certainly wouldn't keep him at the club in any capacity. But he should receive nowhere near the hostility the likes of Duff/Owen get in my opinion.

My thoughts exactly. They will come at us which is what we want. They dont possess much of a threat yet we do on the break. If we can get an early goal i expect us to dominate the game. Also...Beating Wigan could have an impact on the Spurs game who play Blackburn. Rovers could then go level on points with Wigan, going above on goal difference. It's a shame its at WHL like because I'm sure I read Spurs haven't won away in 2012? Either way, if we win the pressure is well and truly on Spurs and Chelsea. Would have been more confident if Wigan had won last week, funnily enough. Spurs havent been great for a while though and Blackburn are sure to give them a fight. Anything can happen. A favour from QPR, Stoke and Blackburn at the weekend could well see us seriously challenging for 3rd come Sunday night. Arsenal always seem to struggle at Stoke as well. Either way just focus on our game and put pressure on the rest Shame to think if Vermalen didn't score with the last kick we would be sitting joint third with a game in hand (I think). They do but Stoke have nowt to play for now whilst Arsenal have. Like you say, all we can hope for is we that we take care of our own business and hope for a little luck in other games which to be fair we have had quite a bit of in the last 2 months (Results strangely going our way). I tend not to think about what could have happened if... Theres too many...Mackems, Wolves, Fulham, West Brom and Arsenal etc. Aye exactly, me old man always says it balances out over the season, he's right I suppose. We've picked up points in games I didn't give us a chance in as well (Man U home/away).

Given Lauren (was class back in the day!) Campbell Puyol Cole Ronaldo Vieira Scholes Pires Shearer Henry Hard to leave out Del Piero, Petit, Buffon , Ginola, Kluivert and Robert like

I think if Barcelona had knocked them out then they wouldn't have, but now they know they can get CL football in a one off game might mean their focus now switches to the two Cup finals.

What's he done wrong though? He probably knows he is w*** at football, but you can't deny he served us well when we needed him. He will leave in the summer, but I hold no grudge like I do with the likes of Owen. Served us well? In what capacity? He's a f***ing shocking excuse for a footballer. If he wanted to actually play he would've asked for a route out a long time ago. He didn't. For that reason alone I've no time for him. Remember all the bottling bastards who took us down and couldn't wait to fuck off? Smith probably didn't pick how much he is paid man. He captained us for the majority of the Championship season and for the first 5/6 games he was one of the best players. As I say, he probably knows he's shit at football but at least you could honestly say he actually helped us at some point, more so than the others who essentially couldn't wait to leave.

Will probably be Enrique or Bielsa to be fair like. Seen Wenger linked, not a hope in hell.
