I'm glad some of them are level headed enough to realise that the 5-1 will be remembered more than finish one bastard point above a promoted team ffs.

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1654503543#!/profile.php?id=1654503543&sk=wall Is this Ben Arfa !? That Moyo has him tagged in a photo, probably fake like but....Ben Arfa!?

Wouldn't take Bassong back as it seems he was one of the players who went on like Class A cunts after the relegation, whereas Charlie left because of JFK. We probably do need a centre half though. P.S Gervinho

The one on the right is very 90s boy band.
-
Definitely worth going for. Great player on his day, his absence against us and Fulham hurt them badly. Worth a look like. A longterm replacement for Nolan maybe. Thing is we're quite well off in midfield, especially with Gosling coming back into contention in Pre Season.

Zoltan Gera

When he got interviewed after their game at the Hawtorns like a week later he avoided the question like. I reckon he would come back.
-
Agreed. Their shitness would make Colo look even better than what he is. But an improvement on Williamson and Taylor.
-
Roger Johnson/Scott Dann would compliment Colo well I reckon.

Report: Alan Smith to leave NUFC in January?

I like Simpson as a person and that but today he really annoyed me with his defending. Infact how the fuck were we 3-0 up and blow it? Cancels out Arsenal imo.

It's not the point mate. Fair enough, they finished ahead of us, absolutely fair play. But does finishing ahead of a newly promoted club who has absolutely spanked you 5-1 constitute celebrating like you have won the Champions League? If we finished 19th and them 18th, they would still have a massive wankfest for months.
-
Let them celebrate man, the more they celebrate the more it indicates the small club mentality that will hover around Sunderland forever. There is absolutely no question who has had a more sucessful season, especially when considering the expenditure and expectations. Next season we both start on a level pegging, and I will be very surprised if they are above us this time next May.

Aye but probably paper talk. Let's face it, since relegation he's been fantastic, the best left back in my memory anyway. But regardless if how good he is, if he wants away there is really nothing we can do; as fans, as a club. His agent will have turned his head no doubt, because he has often spoke about how happy he is here etc. WHEN he goes, probably to Liverpool, I won't boo him but I won't appluad him either and I really hope he lives to regret it.
-
Will probably be massively overwhelmed by this 'international signing' but I suppose whoever it is, is better than no one. p.s Please God, do not let Matthew Upson set foot within a 15 mile radius of St James' Park.
-
Thank you! Finally someone understands.
-
I f***ing hope not! Yes, he's a reasonable player, but if he's our second best CF next season I think we'll have failed in the transfer market.
-
Sinclair & Zog- big yes. Upson please, please stay away from. Although I can see it now.
-
I hope we're playing 4-3-3. Alot more attacking and hard to defend against, especially with the 2 behind the 1 in the front 3 continuously swapping. Tiote would be crucial in this system like, as would full backs. Which we need two very decent ones over the summer.
-
We would never get Sturridge, be class though.
-
The thing is, if the money is invested from both Carroll and Enrique, we could be better off. However, the detrimental effect if could have on the team is potentially very harmful;losing two key players that have played a big part in the remaking of the club, both on the field and off it. If the money is invested in 5/6 players I don't think many of us would complain, but what has to be looked at beyond their footballing abilities is their willingness to buy into the club, as AC and Jose have.
-
Don't know why it 'f***s you off' like, I find it highly amusing. Because he's a massive hypocrite, really.
-
Tell you what fucks me off actually, the fact that Bruce said we had a 'lack of class' after the 5-1. Since then, he's stated he was determined to finish above us, was counting down the days until the January derby and had a song planned. And just look at him on the touchline ffs, in his tight tracksuit. He portrays himself in the least classiest way possible, the big idiot.
