He was really poor today. Got bullied off the ball a lot (ref didn't help here, mind) and then didn't make good decisions when he had the chance. Still think he's class, but he might genuinely be a better option off the bench.

Think this is one of the issues, though. Eddie won't play with a DM (could be wrong here obviously, but all evidence suggests otherwise). Like we've all said, the midfield 3 is the thing he needs to tweak and get right as his main priority.

He really needs to re-think the way the midfield are set up. They offer no protection to the defence, and no link up play for the attack. On today's game, Eddie has been let down by moments of sheer ridiculousness, but we also look quite devoid of any coherent plan
