Dan Burn is massively underrated by our fans
-
eh? How’s he had that much space man
-
I quite like Carragher’s analysis on MNF tbh. At least he makes an effort to go into some detail rather than just circling around every single cliche like other pundits.
-
yeah Garnacho is honking
-
Garnacho isn’t good at anything
-
wild that McCarthy has an England cap
-
Feel like Onuachu trying a trivela pass and kicking it straight out of play is pretty much peak Russell Martin Southampton tbh
-
they’ve done miracles with Salah’s hairline, like. Looks great.
-
he’s not a striker though (Cunha)
-
Matheus Cunha 🫡🫡🫡 Lovely player. Lovely.
-
Werner’s just put Walker into retirement there imo
-
a blessing in disguise that Romero’s injured for Spurs tbh.
-
Savinho is vanarama
-
didn’t even know Nokia 3330s had cameras tbh
-
troy parrott ffs they are just bringing on those greyed out football manager players with made up names now
-
absolutely shocked the guy with the double-barrelled surname has loads of famous family connections

I dunno, practically every time I've watched him this season I've felt like Gordon's been missing the aggression (with and without the ball) in his game that made him so great last season.
-
Gordon's been poor if we're being honest.

I dunno. WC26 is still 18 months away and you'd expect Tino to have developed by then. He's a more ideal replacement for Walker in terms of profile when you need a more defensive RB, so he should play a bit I think. Not as much as TAA obviously.

if Kane can't perform with all these runners round him it's time to keep him on the bench and look at alternatives before the World Cup.
-
Thought Lumsden was really good and by far our most dangerous player today tbh!

Feel like we deserved something out of the game tbf. Last half an hour we were good after the subs and had some control over the game. We definitely need a more physical presence up top if we can get one. It'd make a massive difference given how we seem to play, relying on second balls and pretty direct football. Booting it long for Barker and Hayles unsurprisingly didn't bear fruit at all.

Cooper with a proper Sunday leaguer after Southampton didn't defend a corner well.
