I really like Tino but he was poor in all of the pre-season games I watched and has offered zero offensively in the first two games. We could really do with hanging on to Tripps this season.

we looked better when we stopped the 4-4-2 stuff. Trippier also understands the position and role in the team far more than Livramento at the moment. Makes a big difference.

We started well the first twenty minutes. We’re just always going to struggle to grab hold of games with our lack of control and technical ability. The PL is full of good teams and managers now, and they’ve been recruiting better than us recently.

perplexed by this. He was the best RB in the world for about 18 months, had a tricky month or so last season and ever since it's felt like he's not really been in it. His leadership just disappeared. Then he played for England at the Euros and looked himself again and was barking orders at everyone. Something must've gone on, like. I'll be sad when he leaves. Been so good for us.

I’d still start Hall but he did lose 7/7 duels and was dribbled past 3x more than anyone else on the pitch against Southampton. I wouldn’t be surprised if Eddie sat him out for this one.
