Yeah, we had no Bruno for that game. He will make a huge difference obviously.
-
Feel like he’s been in and out of the team so much this season that we haven’t really had chance to get him in the pitch with Bruno, Willock and Isak (+Almiron!) at the same time in those kind of games. One of the features of our play on Sunday was flooding the right so that we could isolate ASM 1v1 against Dalot and it worked really well. We have more threats for the opposition to deal with now so they won’t be able to double and triple up on Maxi.
-
I thought it at the time with the eye test, but when you look at his numbers from the game they’re exactly what you’d want from Maxi in this team. He was pretty flawless to be honest. Right up there with Trippier on the day. Hope he keeps working hard on his fitness so he can be sharp for longer in the games. That’s the main downside with him.

Massive, massive games on down at the bottom of the table, but the one that's on telly is a mid-table shit-off. The TV deal is a disgrace for UK fans, like.
-
his header and assist was pretty incredible watching it back. He was running and leaping pretty much full pelt to get on the end of it but still managed to direct it inch perfect.
-
yeah, his control and quality in tight areas is absolutely elite tier. Very exciting because we have the midfielders and wingers to thrive off that ability. For the first goal on Sunday, both Willock and Bruno's movement off him is the prime example of that. Really good to have two different forwards like Isak and Wilson to choose from as well.

what a fucking team, man
-
must be a bit of decency bias due to the last squad, be he’s consistently introduced players. Even in the last game he gave Toney a debut.
-
he’s introduced loads of players to the national team over the years. https://www.90min.com/posts/every-england-player-make-debut-gareth-southgate/amp 55 players have made their England debut under Southgate.
-
Man U did sit in a low block to be fair. They always do against decent sides and are massively over reliant on the counter in those games.
-
We need a squad true, but there's no need to make McTominay part of it. I would not be putting McTominay into the XI ahead of Longstaff. Joelinton is a much better player than McTominay and he's going to struggle to get back in the team now. We need a top class CM so that ie Longstaff etc. become the squad players, not so that the likes of McTominay become backup to Longstaff.

Most progressive passes (8), most passes into the penalty area (4), most passes into the final 1/3 (4) on the pitch yesterday. I dunno what it is about him but we seem to do really well when he's in the team? That incredible run in October when we won every game... he started most of those too.
-
I think Willock could be in the England squad soon for sure. We are lacking in midfield and Southgate likes the athletic, pressing types in there. Would be decent backup for Bellingham and a good option to bring on if you need a goal.
-
John Stones imo. If he wasn’t injured so much it would be comfortably too.
-
Ten Hag was so stupid yesterday. Trippier has the 2nd highest open play expected threat in the league behind KdB and Man U gave him free reign. Nobody tracked him all game
-
Fernandes kicked Isak(?) in the chest in the first half too. Absolute twat of a player.
-
He would be Man U's best player let alone midfielder
-
had a feeling about him having a worldy today. Didn’t quite come off but always felt like he’d get space in the box against these.
-
He was great. Just get fitter so you can play the full game please Allan

Trips was motm for me. So good.

Delighted Cal came on and looked more like himself. Will be so important to have two good options up there.
-
I don’t think he needs to go outside unless he wants to at the moment. Got Dalot on toast.
-
ASM been good. A threat every time he gets it. 5 passes leading to shots so far.
