yeah, for sure. It might not even be his ideal position, but it's definitely what we need from him. Bruno can play out of pressure but gets caught quite a bit, Ramsey looks like he can do similar but with far more agility. It's something we sorely need in the team. I'm not sure why he hasn't played more recently. Joelinton has been playing really well but I'm sure most of us could've foreseen him getting injured like he did.

I suppose the pretty major issue with playing a back 3 is that it involves using all 3 of our fit centre backs. Krafth, Lascelles and Schar are all missing so there is literally nobody. Botman can get injured at anytime and then you’re down to 2, so you can neither play the system or have any back up for the position at all.

Yeah, I like him in a double pivot next to Tonali. Like I said at HT, looks like the guy who can receive the ball from the back four, spin and progress play. We don’t have that sort of player in the squad because they tend to cost £100m in the PL.

When I watch him play I think he can be the guy who takes the ball off our CBs and evade pressure. He seems to be really good at receiving it facing our goal and has some strength to go with the agility.

First 10 minutes we were really bad, like I couldn’t see how we were supposed to be defending at all because all of their midfield were free all of the time, but since that we’ve been much better. Willock beating Hakimi was a moment even though the ref bizarrely gave a foul. We need to develop more down that side.

Ramsey has been really good. All of our attacking play has to be off the cuff given the system change and chaos players like him and Willock can do things.
