Norwich and Swansea have better players. Wigan used to have N'Zogbia, and players like Figueroa and Rodallega all playing well. Now all they have is Momo Diamé. Zog went, they didn't bring a suitable replacement in and Figueroa and Rodallega have turned to shit.
-
Yeah, Dave Whelan's had a go at some of his decisions today apparently and will be speaking to him about it (as though he knows better ). They have terrible, terrible players and their fans barely exist. They don't deserve to be anywhere near the premier league, and it's no fault of Martinez's imo.

Went for the middle option on both. I'm so Switzerland I want to see some decent investment from Ashley this Summer and for him to not sell our best players if we qualify for Europe in some capacity. If that happens I'll be quite content with him. Regarding Pardew; he needs to improve the style of play and stop this gradual movement towards being an almost exclusively long ball team. Results have been great this season and we couldn't hope for much better, but the performances have been average-poor for the most part, and that needs to improve if we are to kick on next season. If poor performances continue and the results slip next season and we finish 10th-12th I wouldn't really be pleased to see him stay on.

Mike Williamson reminds me of that useless southern gym teacher on Waterloo Road. Never liked him since. Guthrie, Cabaye and Best were my picks. Would've picked Smith as well if I had a 4th option.
-
Of course Barcelona, Real Madrid and Milan would want him. Just because he won't play 90 minutes every week doesn't mean he won't improve their squad.
-
Is there actually any legitimate reason why he would say these things to the press? I don't understand it at all. All it seems to be doing is (wrongly) turning fans against HBA.
-
He'll be replacing RvP, surely? Can't see him staying past the Summer
-
He needs an extended run in the team. Something he has never had. More than 10 starts in a row would do the trick. It reminds me of Sturridge a couple of seasons ago at Chelsea. He would only get 10-15 minutes at the end of games occasionally; and in these games he showed ability, but was always (even more than he does now) shooting from miles away or trying to take too many people on. HBA just needs a run of starts and to be told he should play his natural game rather than just to try and do everything by himself. Unfortunately under Pardew he will never get that chance, and we will never play with the football that will get the best out of him.
-
So all in all better than Raylor and Obertan.
-
Graham Carr for manager with HBA as assistant

It's been like that all season. We're fortunate enough to have one of the most in form strikers in the league in Demba Ba (and now seemingly Cissé). I dread to think what results would be like if we didn't have a striker in the form of his life
-
Demba Ba's the main reason we are where we are in the league. Pardew's had a minimal effect imo
-
He is; I don't disagree with that. But it doesn't mean that Guthrie's been better recently
-
I love Yohan, but he's not been good recently and there was no way he should've come into the team for Guthrie today. Guthrie's been affecting games in a much more positive way than Cabaye recently
-
When he's been our best player over a period of games I don't think he's wrong to think that he should be starting. Even ahead of Cabaye
-
He was terrible, but there are entirely plausible reasons for that. In the form of his life before the game, consistently our best player and then gets dropped as soon as possible. All the confidence he'd been playing with will have been demolished
-
If I was Cabaye I'd be off this Summer, like. Pardew's sold him a complete lie about the style of football.
-
Kind of wish we'd have got Mariappa now. Ahh
-
Can't believe he's come out and said he's not disappointed with our performance . Even said we drew because Wolves were really good
-
Why didn't we sign a right back and a centre half in January or even last Summer, man Can't expect to get into Europe with Danny fucking Simpson and Mike Williamcunt
-
His ratings are all over the place on FIFA, like
-
Think I've said it before, but if he does go, I really hope he goes abroad. Could excel in Spain
-
Why couldn't Spurs have played like this against us?
