  1. Is Kádár old enough to need to be registered now? I'm not so sure he does need to be registered as he was only 20 on February 1st. Shane Ferguson doesn't need to be registered either.
  2. aye. He's hardly going to come out and say 'we're going to sign 4 more players' or something similar. If he said that and we ended up signing just two, fans would be unhappy
  3. The transfer window for English clubs to English clubs opened as soon as the season finished. International transfer window opened on the 9th of June. I think
  4. Can see Padrew being stupid enough to Gibson as a replacement for Nolan. He'll come out and say 'he can replace Kevin Nolan. He is a hard working midfielder with an eye for goal' or something ridiculous like that
  5. need some protests outside SJP to tell Pards not to waste money on Gibson, I think
  6. I'd rather we went for Marvin Martin than either Matuidi or Sissoko.
  7. Gibson nailed on to go to the mackems, like. Niall Quinn will love getting another Irish lad in

I dunno. Think Stoke might do all right
  10. Can't really see why we'd transfer list Routledge and then go for Keith Treacy
  11. Been rubbish this season anyway
  12. Not necessarily, if you play 4-4-2 you would have the two strikers and two wingers as being primarily attacking players and could still accomodate a box to box midfielder. It depends if the 3 attacking mids were all given free roles or if they are expected to put a shift in going backwards as well. That would be fine if Marveaux, Ben Arfa and/or N'Zog were actually willing to put in a defensive shift, which I don't think they will. Marveaux is very lazy defensively from what I've heard, and I don't see Ben Arfa being one to be tied down to a position like left midfield
  13. If Marveaux, HBA and N'Zog were all to play at once, we'd definitely need two defensive midfielders on the pitch too. Cabaye will have to stay back with Tioté, which is fine by me
  14. Think that's more because Bolton didn't have the money due to shelling out a ridiculous amount for Johan Elmander a week or two before Guthrie signed for us
  15. Why? He offers us very little, especially if we're after Matuidi and going to play a 4-3-3. He's a decent player when given a run in the team. Proved that at Bolton and even with us for a while. Good backup for us
  16. Please don't sell Guthrie, Pards
  17. From what I've seen and heard, Forster is probably better than Krul at the moment. Krul's a good shot stopper, but he doesn't half make some silly mistakes like. Forster has more experience too. Either way, I'd be happy to see Krul or Forster as our first choice next season. Out with the old and all that

    Confirmed on SSN
  19. nah, Liverpool are planning on a £25m bid for Danny Rose. Sturridge isn't overrated enough for them
  20. I agree. If he's willing to take a pay as you play contract there's nothing to lose How about Matuidi? I'm pretty sure we wouldn't buy him if we got Hargreaves. Why wouldn't we? I don't think we'd be expecting Hargreaves to be able to play for most of the season, so we could get Matuidi anyway. No fee and we wouldn't be losing any money on wages if Hargreaves was on a pay as you play deal, either. Hargreaves could play right back for us anyway when he plays
  21. I agree. If he's willing to take a pay as you play contract there's nothing to lose
  22. Don't want Taarabt anywhere near this club
  23. Two defensive midfielders is ideal for playing a quick counter attacking style 4-2-3-1. See the Dutch's football in Euro 2008. It does however mean you have to have an attacking midfielder (Sneijder in Holland's case). None of Tioté, Cabaye or Matuidi really fit that role
  24. suspended betting seems to mean very little, but hopefully I'm proved wrong
