Not if it’s against regulations that you’ve signed up to abide by, no. Just keep your mouth shut for a week or two. Surely the £100k a week wage would be a sufficient incentive?
-
Also got a £70k fine. He claimed at the time that the messages to his mates were just ‘banter’, but the disciplinary committee found otherwise and him guilty of four breaches of a rule which prevents players from providing information to others on their position which is not available in public at the time. It might’ve just been a ‘heads up’ to mates, but it’s still a transgression of regulations and he was daft for doing it.

It’s not a criminal investigation. The ‘offences’ are investigated by football authorities, not the police.
-
He’s been investigated over the last 7 or 8 months, reports have stated. Southgate picked him for the last squad obviously knowing full well this was occurring.

https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-united-transfer-news-garnacho-18905031.amp given Man Utd signed three Spanish youth players as well as other EU nationalities, I’d suggest that EU players have less criteria to fulfill for a work permit than players from other continents like Kuol.

Cares about his own fans? Does he fuck. It’s just a means to an end, that being his own gratification to his ego. As good a footballer as he is (or once was), the man is an over inflated, egotistical, arrogant prick who can’t see anything other than himself. Granted one or two of those characteristics have helped him to achieve the elevated position he got to, but now that he’s at the end of his career path and heading downhill, those same characteristics are doing him zero favours.

Saudi Telecom- they were on the advertising boards at the stadium last week along with Saudia

Official pillow partner… ??

Desperate in case we beat them to another ‘Bruno’ again.
-
Which is why he’s unlikely to get a work permit unless he gets regular international appearances
-
It’s irrelevant what the level of the league is, just the level of the player. Anderson isn’t a PL player right now as per his (limited) appearances. We don’t know about Kuol until he gets here.
-
Why not? If he’s good enough…
-
Suarez from Liverpool to Arsenal in 2013- they bid £40m + £1
-
He won’t be returning to Australia- we’d want him to gain experience (and work permit points) in a decent European league. It’d be a complete waste for him to return back to Australia, and would achieve nothing for the club or player in the long term.
-
FA got their hands burnt with Capello and prefer to have continuity via home grown coaches.
-
Think that was just because he didn’t (still doesn’t) qualify for a permit, so they’d have to send him out. There has been talk in the press about him staying (and presumably being in the squad), should his permit status change.
-
Player-manager?
-
No idea- I’m no expert- just surmising why one might get a permit and one not. I’m sure it’ll all come good one way or the other!
-
But coming from the Spanish league gives higher prestige and points for a permit- it is a band 1 league, whereas the Oz league isn’t even band 5. Full international obviously gives more points, but being Oz international doesn’t rate highly.
-
“Newcastle and Vélez Sarsfield are in negotiations for the sale of Máximo Perrone. The Argentine has an exit clause of 9M € .” oooh…nice. ?
-
Yep- Portugal has been mooted as a place to send him. Although he might get recognition and required permit points at the WC, and failing that, the club can apply for a permit without him getting the necessary points, saying that he’s an outstanding world talent
-
Also, coming from Spain/Argentina is seen as a higher level/banding due to the quality of the leagues there, and therefore gives you more points than the Oz league which I think isn’t classed as even in the top 5 bands of leagues worldwide.
