  1. Been linked to Carrasco quite a bit previously.
  2. But so what? What difference does it make? It’s just light hearted. I don’t understand why you seem to be saying it shouldn’t have happened, that’s all.
  3. It’s just an extremely small gesture to our clubs owners- nothing to get irate about whatsoever. Can’t imagine the tannoy announcement had an impact on Eddies team talk, or that it weakened the team mentality. It’s a little cringey as others have said, but so what?
  4. So were multiple birthdays, young kids visiting, etc etc. Do you not agree with those also?
  5. Fair enough- haven’t seen those quotes anywhere, just Potter saying the contract wasn’t ending until 2024 ?
  6. Probably. Martial couldn’t though- 12 in 48 in his penultimate season in France.
  7. He still got 11 goals in 34 appearances in his first season, and has 12 in 17 this year- nothing sad about those figures. He’s bound to decline a little, but he’s still well up there.
  8. The Athletic says the extension is triggered by the club. “Belgium forward Trossard and Argentina midfielder Mac Allister currently have deals which expire in June 2024. Those deals including one-year options for the club, as previously reported by The Athletic, but both players could now be set for an extended stay.”
  9. Yeah, option by the club, so it’s basically until 2024 https://theathletic.com/3640491/2022/09/29/brighton-trossard-macallister-contract/ “Belgium forward Trossard and Argentina midfielder Mac Allister currently have deals which expire in June 2024. 10. Invested a lot, but also recouped a lot. £92m for the last 5 years (£18m per year) isn’t high, to say the least, given the club, where they are, and aspirations. Then you compare it to Everton (£55m per year) etc and it’s no surprise the fans are revolting
  11. Don’t think so, hence all the talk of a loan to Portugal. If he plays a lot in the WC then that changes and he would probably qualify for one.
  12. He also came away with a new personalised home shirt, and a training top from the club shop…which again, I’ve had to remind him won’t happen every time!!
  13. Amazing. The whole day. From arriving at the stadium and seeing it filling up, the flag waving, the music, Blaydon Races, the whole crowd singing (and the boy learning some lyrics!), seeing the goals, the players running over towards us to celebrate, drama of a penalty, hitting the woodwork, close chances missed, the Villa fan and his family sat behind us slumped down and crying in the second half….we’re both just buzzing and the boy has a smile so wide on his face that he’s currently having trouble eating his pizza I’ve got for him…. just had to remind him that not every game he watches now will be 4-0! edit- AND I can’t stop him singing EIEIEIO…over and over and over again on repeat…
  14. Can you send a loan player out on loan?
  15. Presume we didn’t follow up any interest if he went to MK Dons from Fulham?
  16. Thank you. Haven’t been to a game since the takeover, so looking forward to it for loads of reasons!
  17. First game I’m taking my boy to- absolutely fucking buzzing for us both. I can just imagine his face, seeing the stadium, the flags, the noise, his heroes. Cannot wait!!
  18. Me too. Load of cunts on the day, for no reason whatsoever.
  19. Cool story. Care to give us an ending and explain why not?

    sunderland

Exile is supposedly on his holidays in that bastion of human rights, Turkey.
  21. Fucking great result ….and quality gamesmanship towards the end to clinch it.
  22. Linked with Vanderson a little while ago. Going by YouTube scouting, he’d be great and add to the Brazilian contingent. Expensive though.
  23. Half time team talk? And ‘attracted’ Coutinho. Not much else it seems.
