Surprised about this if it is indeed true, we are still fairly comfortable in mid table and have little chance of being relegated. Stability and all that crap.
Why would Hoddle want to work for Ashley? The only reason i think Kinnear took the job, was because he had been trying to get his foot in the door ever since he left due to health reasons. Cant imagine Hoddle is that desperate to get back into football.
Under souness we sold Robert, Bellamy and Bernard, a few of my favourite players at the time. This is starting to feel exactly the same, except i dont blame Pards entirely for the sale of Cabaye, but i will do if Ben Arfa fucks off.
Apparantly still waiting for confirmation from the FA for if the game goes ahead or not - basically Betfair being cunts and delaying me getting a refund on my bets for the match
Cisse and De Jong was worth a try, would never sacrifice Ben Arfa for it though. It is almost like he has to be brilliant every match or he gets dropped, other players who have been shit for ages still get a start ffs.
Beautifully phrased and an excellent question. He's thick as mince is probably the correct answer.
Guessing he probably had it all over twitter #breakinthelawlolz
If they get humped all over tomorrow it will take the wind out of their sails even more so. It may be city away but a humping of the team they play in the final will make the trip seem a lot less appealing imo.
I think it was more the fact that they seem to compare themselves to us in every way possible, that irritated me slightly. Except when we are doing well and of course they couldnt give a fuck.
I have heard the classic 'would rather have our season, that yours' from a mackem in the past few days. 'Win both Derbys and a cup final'. If they dont win the cup final and still get relegated i wonder if he would still say the same. Runners up really means fuck all imo, and i dont see the derby as the be all and end all, of a league season.
Why anybody would make that 'tackle' is beyond me. 5 minutes into the match, they would have been better off going 0-1 down, than playing 85 minutes with 10 men.
