It's exactly what Pedro has done above tbh. If you know you are leaving anyway it makes no sense to stay an extra month and risk an injury that could curtail your last big contract. It looks worse because Bournemouth are in trouble but I understand it. Pedro isn’t in the first team, they’re not dependent on winning/losing something on his form. Bournemouth have given him the position to be the player he is/thinks he is. They’re now massively in trouble. Not finishing the season is an absolute shithouse move.

I really disliked him. Aside from Colback I think he had been one of our worst performers at times or at least looked like a player massively out of his depth. I can’t remember which game it was but his unchallenged headed clearance was put straight back into the danger area and they scored. I was foaming. He’s now our best right back by some distance. Defensively and going forward. The games against City and defensively v Zaha really stand out. I really hope he stays.

I’m not sure If this has been posted elsewhere but was just reading about Ryan Fraser refusing to sign an extension with Bournemouth to keep him there until the end of this season as his contract is up. What absolute shithouse behaviour that is given they’re deep in trouble. It’s Michael Owen levels of low. He’s got West Ham written all over him.

The timing of this new American takeover bid is absolutely pathetic and a transparent attempt to put pressure on the Premier League.

It was referred to in the video with the two lawyers last night that the owners and directors test will be changed after this. So whether they’ll openly prevent state sponsored clubs or not I don’t know but it looks like they’ll definitely be trying to avoid a situation like this again.

If this issue does prevent the takeover. How sad would it be that an intellectual property issue, which has been vastly overblown, would collapse the deal rather than the actually morally questionable human rights violations.
