Seems like it it’s ruled on their ability to bring legal action within Saudi Arabia. I can’t see anything there that would directly effect our takeover unless I’m massively missing something. It certainly isn’t the damning indictment some journalist were claiming was leaked earlier. Was expecting to see they’d be complicit in BeOut or whatever it was called.

I noticed Steve Wraith has said it's 50/50. Weeks and weeks of saying its done and his sources have said so blah blah. Now claiming it's a coin flip, no one knows and is denying ever saying it was done. Absolute arsehole of the highest order him.

There’s absolutely no way they’re approving the takeover if the WTO outcome is as mentioned and the wave of negative press that will follow.

Whether behind it or complicit in not doing enough my pessimistic stand point now is that. I think it’ll be used to knock us back. Even if it forces the appeal to make the legitimacy of their process seem even more viable but the positive sounding noises have long stopped.

That spell towards the end of the Championship season when him and Darlow were competing to see who could cost us the most goals was grim. I’ve gone through stages of liking and disliking both of them but man that feeling when Dubravka came into the first team. It felt like he was the best keeper I’d ever seen.

Also, unless that isn’t the full story from the athletic, that reads like a “red flag” to me? I know Caulkin said that word has lost its meaning a little but given the buyers side have repeatedly said there isn’t any, that problem reads like a bit of an unrealistic deal-breaker to me. Agree totally. Think they'll fly out of the blocks. Same. Wilder has also commented about players having fitness programmes and not having any excuse not to be fit. Bit of a shame for Sterry. Not basing this on his football ability but he seems a really decent lad based on his Instagram fitness sessions he’s been doing. Given after all of this time they're still answering questions this week and frustration seems to be building it isn't looking that promising is it? I know this is all guesswork but given the slight shift in narrative, particularly from Caulkin it doesn't seem like a takeover that is imminently closing to a positive conclusion does it? If you compare it to about 2-3 weeks back it looked like it was going to be a formality. I think this is the first time I'm having a proper wobble over it.

Sancho, Rashford and Martial seems like a pretty devastating front three to me. If they can get Pogba back on side with Bruno they might actually start challenging again with a couple of sensible squad additions.
