I know someone who’s a physio at youth level at the club and he said that it’s been known for a while around the training ground and it’s had a massive knock on in his private life. It could also be absolute bollocks mind which is why I didn’t bother posting it before now.

They’ve played so many games lately but didn’t expect that to happen. Liverpool have been the best team in Europe for season and it asks more questions about what’s been going on behind the scenes there for months.

He absolutely would move. I think we’ve got to be realistic that if one of the massive teams come for Bruno we’ll lose him but I can’t see many out there being able to afford him.

I think we’ll get a good win here. I read a stat earlier that we’re the worst performing team in terms of goals to XG since the restart and eventually those chances are going to start going in. The final will be well in the past and it’ll be back to business as usual. Hope Isak, ASM and Gordon all start.

Brighton have a good run of winnable games coming too.

Disagree with Maxi losing his place over Almiron. Also disagree with Wilson starting over Isak. I can’t even see the best case scenario being a draw today though.

I actually feel a bit sorry for him. He’s been out of the team for ages, looked like he was no longer really Premier League standard and he’s been chucked in v Haaland

I honestly think it was more credit to Man U rather than him being poor in the second. AWB is a beast and there was so many bodies around him. Not having a proper left back really hampers him too. I think we’d be mad not to persist with him.

Just a quick word on how well this lad did yesterday. The mental strength to make his debut in a final after what happened in the Champions League final and not playing in so long deserves credit. He made a couple of good saves from Rashford and Bruno. His distribution and want to get the ball out quickly was good too. This may be controversial but I’d make him no2 for the rest of the season. Dubravka will be moved on in the summer regardless. Make this lad no2 and invest in a young, promising keeper as a long term replacement for Pope.

Not sure about a start but shows his value as a squad player. He dared have a pop at goal when we seemed impotent and defended really well when required. That RW position needs some serious investment.

Still deeply disappointed this morning but more so because we deserved to lose. Watching the highlights back they were incredibly well organised, more so than us. More aggressive in winning the ball and on reflection had a better game plan. I thought the Brazilians were the best players on the pitch. Casemiro, Antony, Joelinton, Bruno, even Fred - all great.

Feeling thoroughly sick now mind. Total adrenaline dump into this grumpy solemn state.

Always thought Antony was fucking shite and I still don’t think he was worth the fee but I thought he was good today.

Disappointed but not too dejected from that. We’ve got a few players that aren’t really top standard and it showed. I thought Joelinton and Bruno were brilliant. Our wingers didn’t produce enough, Miggy particularly completely ineffectual. ASM asked questions but AWB in particular answered them. I think the Wilson or Isak debate has an answer now. One looks on the upward trajectory whereas the other is on the way down. I thought the subs were decent. Murphy was unlucky, not sure how that curled wide. Man U looked better than us. I don’t agree they didn’t work for it because there organisation, pressing and desire to win every ball was really top standard. They were just better. Hopefully we don’t have to wait so long to the next one. We need to make sure we push on and secure a European place.
