Everton away we started with just one striker upfront. Probably put him off for the season! i know, but just wondered why all the hoof ball every game doesnt put him off though. -

anyone noticed that pardews has an obsession with trying to put atleast two strikers in his starting line-up no matter if he tries a 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 or whatever formation. just think, Ba being played outwide, Leon Best being played outwide, we even saw shola coming on last season to be stuck out on the wings. now it's Cisse's turn. its like he has this obsession of having two forwards on the pitch just so he can switch straight back to 4-4-2 . -

wounded animals they are, we're in for a spanking. think they will throw the kitchen sink at us, and we'll be ultra defensive but maybe nick a draw in the end. thats just me being optimistic lol not expecting a 3-0 like last season no way. -
would sell in a heart beat but nobody is daft enough to pay £2 mill for gosling lol

How much enjoyment do you get from watching NUFC?

i prefer to watch our french boys together off the field http://www.canalplus.fr/c-sport/pid2708-c-interieur-sport.html?vid=734464 -
That would seem to necessitate dropping HBA into a central role behind the strikers and letting him move into midfield to pick-up the ball. Ideally, I think, Cabaye handles that job and HBA floats all over the pitch. well you would think that and im sure pardew has as well but it doesn't work out that way. when we get pushed back or under the cosh, cabaye and whole of our midfield drops back regardless even if hba is in there or not, thats is where the problem lies, our strikers are hanging up there giving you these parrellel lines of ---------------striker-----striker----------------- -------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- midfield------midfield---midfield-------midfield -------------------------------------------------- defence------defence----defence--------defence hence hoof.

lack of link up between the attack and midfield. no matter if we play 4-3-3 / 4-4-2 we have no link up. reason being none of our strikers are any different, shola, cisse, ba, they dont come short to get the ball. sometimes they try but its not their game.

he struggles with the speed and the aggression of the english game so far.

yeh take him back but will never happen. first he left for liverpool, no doubt getting a very healthy rise in wages. even if ashley stumps up the cash for jose. theres still noway he's going to take a wage cut and join us. see ya Jose, was fun whilst you were here.

there is a reason why players like vuckic and marveaux, dont get starts in prem matches. they all too lightweight. i dont mean physically. They cannot cope with the speed and rigorous nature of the english game not yet anyway. marveaux struggled vs everton, and a half baked manure team, but in the europa he has shown promise due to the nature of the european game, he was given time on the ball and ref are stricter with challenges.
