don't know whats good about him, he's tall and has a great shot on him thats it. he can't challenge in the air regardless of his height, he doesn't impose himself physically on the field, scared of getting stuck in and his passing has been woeful. -

the more i see of vuckic the more disappointed i get lacks aggression , shirks out of every 50/50 challenge, and his passing has been awful. for a big lad he seems incredibly soft, time for him to grow a pair. -
gosling if he has to start should play in that vuckic role of being just behind the striker, making late runs into the box to score, that is his supposed strength. him being deep in midfield is not good. i can only guess is he is there because amalfitano is not physically ready to play there. but why not put bigi in there?

just tell your agent you want that contract signed/renewed! come on mr.Ba you employ your agent, not the other way round. tell him what to do and sort it out. and keep his mouth under control.

Debuchy's heart is not in it, Lille knows that as well, bet they wished they sold him now, tossers.

Not really, It was 45 minutes of football. I would still like to see us use 4-3-3 with him wide, meaning either Cisse or Ba being dropped. wtf? that was where he played last night. Out wide, the only reason he was playing so deep was because our whole team got pushed back. if im not mistaken, when your team is under the gun, your widemen from the front three comes back into midfield to help out, which is exactly what marveaux attempted to do, abysmally. No legs, no aggression, just completely out of his depth. im not saying he's lazy, but closing down and applying pressure to win the ball back is something severely lacking in his repertoire. perhaps its due to fitness, or he is just not capable doing such things when his team is under pressure.
-
marveaux needs to sort himself out, not a single tackle put in by him he just runs around chasing shadows, doesn't get anywhere near to winning the ball, when he is in position to contend for the ball, he shirks away from any attempt to put his foot in, he just stands infront his opponent who's got the ball and wait for him to pass. how many times has Baines stood right in front marveaux and all the frenchman can do is stare at him, f***ing get your foot in there you pansy little s***. bring Bigi on and put jonas outwide , get that useless marveaux off, he's completely out of his depth. the game is just way too fast for him.

would had enjoyed that moment even more had i realized it was n'zogbia at the time who was pulled back lol he was through on goal as well lol jonas had to do it, he had no choice really, thats why i loved it. but it brought back a horrible memory of gunnar solskjaer the twat.

yep im tired of seeing him putting his foot over ball while shielding the opponent from the ball with his body and basically just standing on the spot doing it not moving, Ba was guilty of doing the same thing. if you havent got a team mate to pass to, dribble away from your marker and look for a pass, what they did today was just lazy standing there all macho with their foot over the ball shielding, whilst backing into their marker almost like waiting to get spooned. its fair enough if we were winning and needed to waste some time on the corner flag, dont bloody do it when its 0-0 or 0-1 down ffs. You mean trying to hold the ball up and retain possession until teams mates are available for pass or would you prefer he ran down a dead end and lose the ball in a less macho fashion ? what i mean is look up look around team mates arent that far away, try turning, spinning away from your marker, football is pass and move basic stuff unless you're limited. I think if the option was on he or Ba would do that. Villa were closing us down quickly. ba and jonas were doing it for no particular reason, at times they did it when they could see a team mate to pass to, other times instead of beating their man who was on them they simply stopped dribbling, stood there and did that foot over the ball bullshit, lack of fitness perhaps, the jonas and ba of last season would have kept dribbling. Jonas does it week in week out Retain possession and hold the ball up? It's his default play, stand on the ball and shield it. It's fine sometimes, it doesn't make sense when there's no-one to shield it from, just buys the other team time. it makes sense if were winning by a decent margin, yes retain the ball all you want it doest make sense when 0-0 and you should be chasing the game, you're at home and you're playing a team in a game that is actually quite winnable.
