We should be sensibly building not buying over priced 'star' players who care more about their gram than the pitch and will take one look at our wank training facilities and switch off. Get a mix of promising young players and some good experienced players. Spending large money on 1 player could backfire hugely. When we want to drum up sponsorship money and shirt sales the megastars can come, not in relegation fight. (personally could do without them at all)

When Rafa had him and longstaff playing as a midfield 2 both players were well above bottom of the table level. Bruce's absence of proper training left them both less fit and much less effective. I'm not sure there were really any credible alternatives. The mistake was Bruce should have been sacked immediately and Howe brought in as quickly as possible. I think he's a reasonable choice in an impossible position, but I am worried about what he is doing to address our defense.

We werent trying to win ugly under bruce that was front foot football! lolol. Solidifying the defence had to be the number 1 priority and Howe hasn't managed it. I have sympathy and it is Man City. It's just the silly mistakes that get me.

This is absolutely relegated team level performances. We need to at the very least be hard to beat, you can't grind out the occaisional point against the top teams without at least making it difficult. I wouldnt expect anything from this, and there is improvement in our attacking play but our defence is just embarassing

Long term, fine take time, its going to take a long time and there is a lot of work to turn us into a functional club top to bottom everything needs huge revolution. Short term we need to wring everything we can out of january transfer window and any marginal gains elsewhere as soon as possible to avoid relegation. this is what i am worried about in terms of how long things are taking. I hope the ownership are prepared for possible relegation. It shouldnt be really a disaster, just a frustrating delay on everything really.
