You know what in an ideal world I still don't think you can go wrong with a proper 4-3-3 not too many in defense, a lovely balanced midfield 3 of an explosive ball carrier, a defensive passer and a mercurial creative midfielder then 3 forwards like the peak pep barcalona

I don't mean to be spreading misery, I think going all doomy in here is more collective therapy and trying to come to terms with it. I do think somes optimism is kinda mad but I do hope they are right. I am not trying to rub anyones face in it and I am not trying to prove i am right, I have been wrong plenty of times before. It's December tomorrow and we have 7 points and have yet to win a game. I don't know how anyone thinks this is fine mind but hey ho.

Last I checked 13 points isn't safety, i assume you mean relegation zone on league mind, but if you think we will keep that gap till january you havent checked our fixtures.

It's not that there aren't 'winnable' games ahead it's that the worse you are the first half of the season the better you have to be the second half. We will have to to be beating teams like leicester comfortably for rest of season to stand a chance, it's really really hard to see happening.

We are literally breaking records for how far through a season with so few points and without wins. Nobody has stayed up from the position we're in.

I mean we got absolutely turbo fucked by one of the most incompetant managers in human history. A lot of money was spent to build a terrible team. But some blame has to go the way of the consortium. Bruce should have been sacked the moment they took over. The very next fucking day. We were always going to lose that chelsea game but needed to start eradicating the cunts influence on squad. We needed to appoint a manager quick. I know they had a lot to sort out but they didn't. Maybe Howe is the right guy but I he has also made mistakes. Keeping Darlow out of what sentimental value? Dubs isnt perfect either but he's not going to throw two brentford goals into how oen net, maybe just the one (like at world cup lolol) Then he somehow picks clark rather than fernandez? what is he seeing in these players. I am also not convinced by willock shelvey midfield. I think hayden has to be in there tbh to keep any solidity, as if we have any at all. Mistakes, mistakes, adding up and if we stay up it would be an unrivaled achievement. But every point dropped means you have to win more harder points and i don't think there's any team we can beat in this league. I don't think even 4 or 5 signings can save us. It is a season consolidating, chucking out the almighty deadweight in the championship and another year of any fun deferred. There is a lot of blame to go around.

Might as well start filling the squad out with some reliable championship players tbh. Gut some of the likely promotion rivals.

I'm about 6/10, more likely relegated than not right but still just about plausible we survive but we do have to be hugely improved by second half season.
