  1. I mean the space reserved for the manager, I'm not suggesting Ole should be shunting Fergie out of where he is actually parking.
  2. Funniest and weirdest thing is ole refusing to use fergies parking spot or office. Just think sends wrong message immediately to players
  3. Ole has not done that bad, his teams at times were oodles more fun to watch than Mourinho's. He is clearly not a manager who will ever compete for the champions league and he seemed to have run into a wall this season, and also why on earth did they not sign new midfielders, but depicting him as hopeless is nuts especially considering the behind the scenes dumpsterfire that is clearly man united. I can see him doing a perfectly decent mid tier premier league job. They are also totally fucked, they need a manager who will nurture a new young side into a more modern tactically astute side that can compete with the man citys and bayern munichs of the world. They also need a manager who won't piss off ronaldo by asking him to do some work or dropping him. They can't do both. Zidane probably would be best but he wants the France job doesnt he, why would he firefight?
  4. Needed to win this. Can't ship 3 goals at home to brentford. Really concerned with our run of games up we'll be all but relegated by february
  5. I guess if you've got over the turn off of shagging downie you can put up with almost anything?
  6. I agree Bruce can't have helped but rafa dropped shelvey when he went to back 3 and relied on schar to do more of the creating and we never looked better tbh
  7. Shelvey may work hard for a bit for him but I'm sure howe will see through him like rafa did fairly soon. He can't be relied upon to build a team around.
  8. Clicked on page 4 of this thread by accident and got engrossed reading of the weird old times of Tim Sherwood at Spurs and Vincent Tan's mad Cardiff ownership
  9. Mysteriously not using Twitter poll function instead telling people to do something that boosts their engagement hmmm
  10. Journos have always had to deal with barrages of shit, and yes a lot of them are shit themselves, but I hope this doesn't become a regular thing where even the slightest whiff of criticism triggers the online saudi troll army. yes Eddie Howe does not have to answer for the saudi government's crimes, but equally, even if a journo doesn't agree it is absolutely their job to ask the question. The second time maybe wasn't necessary mind.
  11. depressing and hope it doesn't become a pattern of any journos saying something even vaguely negative about us getting barraged with this shit. Social media is a raging dumpster fire however, everyone would be wise to leave it it alone tbh however unfortunately for journos it has become slightly necessary
  12. Only disappointing to see Shelvey not demoted to mopping the toilets (yet)
  13. Yeah hate is unfair, he hasn't done terrible jobs, it's just a reaction against the chummy media crew trying to get him jobs. As I mentioned before his defensive problems with Chelsea were entirely his own making though. Tuchel sorted out the defense in one training session and they were suddenly incredibly solid. He froze out Rudiger who now looks one of the best cbs in the league (if not europe). It's a weird blind spot to have and you would hope he can sort that out in future jobs.
  14. Could just mean they're using our patented ice bath facilities
  15. Just get someone in soon this has all the makings of a farcical relegation season with us a laughing stock right now.
  16. The problem with lampard is it took Thomas Tuchel literally 1 training session to fix their defensive issues. 1 Session. Doesn't speak highly of knowing what he's doing tbh.
  17. This indecision could cost us. Chance of points at brighton are tremendously valuable. It was said decision making was currently slow, I guess when there is a dof in place things may be quicker but this slowness in decision making is unsustainable.
  18. It all falls apart if Kane doesnt regain form doesn't it? All of a sudden unlikely to be getting £100m. Still at least there are some players who can play decently there, a good coach could make them solid and decent again and they should be able to bring players in. I think Levy's reputation as ruthless might be playing against him mind, managers who want a project see he sacked pochettino, they won't be given time. He ultimately wants a manager who can get quick results last a season or two and then when slight dip replace.
  19. Dean Smith is said to be close to the sack as well, wonder if there'll be some swap around, we'll end up with Nuno for some reason, dean smith to spurs and villa poach someone else
  20. I'm no big fan of Martinez but if we aren't going to get a triple aaa class manager in immediately he may do fine to start to rebuild the team. I do worry about our defense under him though, but thats true of half the proposed managers
