Rafa's too nice to leave Everton in the lurch, it is super convenient for his family, the squad suits him and while owners were extremely frugal they were honest with him and will back him in future. Very much doubt Rafa will be available for a while.

I am conflicted too, but christ there is no ethics in big money sport we all know what it's about. Even if it is dirty money also see if they follow through on investment in the area...I won't pretend I'm not happy, but I also know footballer would be a better place without the man city and chelseas and now maybe us of teh world, but unfortunately they exist and at least we get a bit of the rollercoaster ride that's not crashing permanently into a sewer for once

Koeman getting so much hate is a bit messed up like tbh. Would anyone be doing a great job considering the absolute shambles they are?

They don't need to. I don't think it is so much a broad conspiracy as such that Saudi Arabia buying a club (and it helps it's us and not Man United or something) gives them a good chance to get some goo PR blocking a crazy immoral bid, allows them to pretend to have the moral high ground (while Man City and Chelsea are in the league lololol). Saudi Arabia are piling money into other sports like formula 1 etc. The thing is, this is all really actually wrong, there is no way saudi arabia should own a football club! But it's the picking and choosing when to have morality. You either have a moral premier league and have fan ownership to some level accross the board and restrict ludicrous spending severely or you don't. I was discussing this with another fan who was against the takeover in horror at Saudi Arabia which I have a huge amount of sympathy for. But I can't really stand and boo at somethign that will bring much needed investment into the area and give the fans some joy again. I will remain a morally compromised fan if this goes ahead. And still for the record, I still just can't see it not being blocked by obstinancy from the PL, no matter what 'should' happen.

Absolute state of this.

In fairness we are perfectly capable of shafting ourselves out of the premier League

Are we rich yet?

£1.5m? I know typo but not sure they need Dubai money for that :). Unfortunately the big clubs know they will get bailed out one way or another and they are like gambling addicts thinking the only way out is to spend more and more. Infuriating it works.

I alone really wanted the esl to happen. Not so i could watch it though just thing rest of football would be better with those knobs elsewhere
-
Pretty sure that was Wilders plan on second fury fight in fairness, happens

Or genius legal team are delaying until masters inevitably does of old age then the real bid will happen

It always baffles me who has time and inclination to log into an app and bother to send anyone abuse. It's one thing being small brained enough to hate someone its another to think i know what i will spend my afternoons doing, hurling vitriolic spew into the world. But hey what to I know cancel culture gone mad lolololol

It will be jones cos he will be cheaper than hiring someone. Doesnt really matter it's all just spiraling the grave regardless at this point
-
Arsenal need to calm this down, their game management is not great. Could easily have conceded and have a pen against
-
Oh yeah absolutely. I mean and then it was salvageable still, but then they hired mourinho...

Yes but a lot of that money would still be in replacing the striker rather than through whole squad. Would have to go for a fairly blue chip one. I guess they also feared losing him would be signal to squad of losing ambition, son may have kicked up a fuss to lose too. I don't think keeping him is a terrible idea tbh he probably will still be £100m+ next summer, maybe depreciate £20m and Kane probably earns that from league position if he's in team if he's playing his usual level. Unfortunately he is not playing his usual level.

Sacking Poch is one of the most hilariously stupid decisions, I would say classic sacking him cheaper than refreshing squad but under poch they had loads of saleable assets. Like our playres under bruce a lot look nowhere near as good since Poch left.
