He prefers creativity to come from the wings while his central midfield is there to out power the opposition and smother them. He has a collection of strikers who can play wide but are more interested in shooting themselves than creating. His tactics don't seem as effective and he seems unable to free up an additional midfielder to attack, or press higher up.

Just turned on, went back on iplayer to watch, and to me looks like a clear red. Reminds me of Cabaye's tackle from earlier this season that only got a yellow, I was at the game and he flew in with such force it was ridiculous, that should have been a red and this imo is definitely a red. You can't go in like that on another player.

i think he lost the ball a few times which put us under pressure which stopped me short of saying he had a better game than lascelles, certainly nothing catastrophic and obviously great help in the goal. Hope he gets a run and gets better and better
