He may be being a miserable s*** but I do believe him they haven't agreed a price yet, that doesn't mean they're not close or not just haggling the details at this point but I don't buy into the idea they agreed it ages ago and have been keeping it secret for some reason. I also think people somehow underestimate Mike Ashley's capacity to be fickle and spiteful. I think when they do agree a price we'll know.

I am hopeful but I think a lot of people are counting their chickens. When the deal is done signed and delivered it will be announced, I doubt there will be prolonged keeping it secret and Ashley is quite capable of pulling out for barely any decent reason right up till the last signature. I still think it'll go through but when it's a done deal we'll know.

Well if they get relegated again someone could see them as a bargain to purchase and take them back up I suppose

He is such a frustrating player, he has the attributes to be very good, and yet he rarely delivers. I remain concerned he'll never string performances together but would love for him to gain some confidence. Playing well, which sadly is rare, he has goal threat we are sorely lacking. However that is a big risk considering how relentlessly poor he has been for a while. Odd player, maybe he'd thrive in another league but when he first arrived he seemed to have good body strength and a low centre of gravity to spin away from challenges. Now he seems to just go down under pressure too much.

Keane has been f***ing s*** for Everton. He should but I do wonder if he'll go in, try and do his captain thing from here shouting at more 'senior' players to get into gear and just get laughed at or something. Way too much politics around England squad, it'll never happen

Remember when he was made captain and I was a bit skeptical, now he's the only one I could possibly tolerate being captain.

Hughes is an odd one, mediocre record, jumped club way too much for a while, seems to have settled for mediocrity at a Stoke team that only seem to pretend to ever have any ambition and has just done poor to ok at best and kept his job. In some ways managers should be given the patience and time that he has, and I'm sure he does have qualities as a manager but his career seems one long shrug to me.

2 points behind huddersfield and reckon they'll drop away badly like last season so hopefully will overtake them soon. Things may start looking better in the table for us, but really need to sign some goal scorers etc.

Just getting some confidence back, hopefully we can improve from here. Still annoyed about Brighton but hey ho. Hopefully signings come in, if we don't we will go down but I have no faith in Ashley.
