Difficult chance but kinda expect gayle to get it on target

I'm no ashley apologist, he's fucked us this window unnecessarily, but I think he just really hates being fleeced anywhere in his business and sees the drastically rising agent fees of the last few years and thinks fuck that. It's hard not to have some sympathy, I would approve of all agents being shoved out the back of an airplane tbh.

Having now seen the Ozil handball 'controversy' can I add calling out missed fouls as being controversial despite there being like 10 passes, a corner and 5 good chances for a defence to clear a ball anyway after said controversy. Sorry if something happens directly after a foul is missed, sure super frustrating. If 5 minutes later there's a fucking goal it's not the fault of the ref.

It's a sane business model etc, but I do find sometimes pundits wank themselves over them while the best fans have to hope for is grinding out a 1-0 win against a top 10 team once in a while. I mean we have even less ambition in a way (well without Rafa in the equation) as we don't even seem to want to stay stably in the premier league but anyway, wish someone would call pulis out on being boring twat and not fawn over his continued success at stinking up the league
-
By having absolutely no ambition to achieve anything in any cups or really win any scalps in the league, just set up defensively practise the set pieces and know incompetent teams will probably screw up more than you. Relegation rules should be changed two bottom two teams then whatever shithead team was the dullest.

See they're showing expected goals stats on motd, nerdy

Can't have sympathy, no stupid reaction no card. Pathetic from him.

When it comes down to it if there is doubt in real time it's much better for the ref to give the benefit of the doubt and allow goals to stand and not break up the passage of play too much. I think there is room for video replays to clear up major issues in games, (albeit currently tested implementation seemed way clumsy) but agree totally minor incidents happen. If no-one spotted it during the match and if it wasn't deliberate foul play it feels petty.

already kicked out the squad to make way for colback's glorious return

wtf has silva done to his hair

On final score they're apologising for predicting huddersfield will go down, eeerm early days yet lads

Think as long as we have Rafa we should have enough to stay up, still think it's going to be harder than some think even if everything goes our way with Rafa staying so 4

You know any sympathy I may have ever had for the lad evaporated when as it was becoming very clear we were going to get relegated he pulled up alongside me at a garage in a Lamborghini

Not a fan of loans in same division but better than nothing.
-
Just know he'll now try that several times per game and never score one again though

Pogba has two good balls on to release players on goal and decides to boot it against a real madrid defender. Still yet to be impressed by him for Man U

I think they're in decline now too properly. They were properly poor last season and while they coped admirably with last talent exodus it's noticable that it hasn't happened again. Everyone knows they are willing to sell and there will be a reason why their players aren't as sought after any more. A lot of flattering to deceive in that team.

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)
Tiresias replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
I wouldn't mind him central with license to drift and cause overloads on the flanks. He's certainly one of the most reliable finishers in the team so any chance to get him more shots on goal is good. -
Refing was shocking. Does make me think there is a little crisis point coming if we can't convince enough kids to learn to ref mind, who would? I do have some sympathy with criticisms of how much scrutiny they're put under.

Never went under 47,000 under McClaren. Much to our detriment, though. Even with a boycott, I don't think it's gone below 40,000 ? Don't think so and I agree, the statement an empty St James Park would make against Ashley would be striking. Leaving early from games is also a shockingly poor idea imo, don't give them the ticket sales. I was hoping last effort worked out but sadly it came to f*** all. If we lose Rafa I hope there will be some serious unrest, but somehow I think there are too many fans who don't really give much of a s*** about whose making all the bad calls let alone dragging our club through the s*** year on year.
-
The only thing that makes me think otherwise is we do seem to be a bit of a bogey team for them.
-
I just hope we look fired up at the start and try and catch them out if they're still missing a bit of sharpness.
