I agree but out late run was propelled by Ben Arfa and Cisse's form, both suited to a more fluid formation
-
Just him playing centrally next season, I know i'm being silly over-reacting
-
Sigh 4-4-2 hoofball it will be again :/
-
Actually can see it, Cabaye in Pirlo role with two bodyguards in Anita and Tiote...
-
Suspect the lack of width would be punished tbh, but nice idea. As much as I preach 3 in the middle though we should have a 4-4-2 plan b anyway for games like man u at home, Pards got tactics spot on with that, two strikers can bully a defence and not convinced Cisse can't work in such a system, though think he's ideal as a lone striker. The bigger issue is Ben Arfa who doesn't work in a 4-4-2.
-
To be fair depends on the tone of the convo, if he was really demanding it yeah push out door, if it was "will i get more chances to play as a striker" and pards says "yes there'll be plenty of games inc Europa when you will get a chance up front" which doesn't mean he'll be upfront in first choice arrangement but there'll be times when pards is resting players or tactically wants 2 strikers etc
-
hmmm seems an odd thing for pards to say so soon after saying we will be playing a more possession game. More possession game means 1 striker and 3 midfielders to me, unless 3 at back...or maybe Cisse on wing? Which would be mad as he's clearly the best striker we have. Maybe the plan is the Italian 4-3-1-2?

Screw defence, 4-1-3-2 Tiote HBA Cabaye Jonas Cisse Ba
-
wouldn't be surprised if he went to QPR, they'll offer more money. Anyone with a love of the game would come here, though arguably maybe would possibly get more game time with QPR actually... I don't think it's about being ahead or behind Ba, squad depth is going to be needed, and different tactical options. I think Hoilett is good not great and worry about his workrate, but he is creative and could be a real asset.

still time for the lad seesh.
-
He's trolling us :|
-
ooops missed a comma there
-
God would be very disappointed if we don't get him now.
-
To be fair that's a hell of a lot more players of ours he would have in his team than they'd normally admit
-
Better the devil you know for now. No faith in regulation as to who can buy clubs, and I will remain deeply skeptical of whoever comes forward to run the club, Ashley is doing an alright job atm apart from sports fucking direct
-
Probably doesn't really have any money anyway
-
Is it just me or does he look like Jamie Theakston?
-
Maicon is far too slow for the premier league. It is a bit worrying as he'll be with his mate Hazard there. Have to rely on Cabaye being sexier
-
All he means is they don't go around telling the press exactly who they want etc etc, they can't avoid other club doing so but clearly quite a lot of premier league clubs basically talk nonstop to press
-
aaah ok vital missing first few words i'd missed he'd admitted saying heh hmmmm
-
He's admitted he said the words he's being prosecuted for as I understand it now just said he was being sarcastic, which doesn't make any sense. Maybe context is everything but can't think of a good one... Should know better, and bang to rights as far as I can see.
-
I'm just worried it'll get to the 11th hour and they'll decide to flood everyone with huge offers on deadline day just to be arseholes and tiote will be off or something
-
Have City done anything yet this transfer window? Know they'll probably end up with Van Persie, can't see why they want him but are they really having to offload players before Mancini is allowed to sign anyone? They really rather need a defensive midfielder, guess they really wanted De Rossi but he's decided to stay in Italy hasn't he. Can see them after Javi Martinez in a big way.

Today reported defence has called for the case to be thrown out because of lack of evidence, despite yesterday Terry admitted he said what he has been alleged to have said (he claims he was being 'sarcastic' I think he has mixed up 'sarcasm' with racist in his head) I do not understand how that can constitute a lack of evidence...
