  1. I have no inside knowledge or expertise, just suspicious of these early deals etc
  2. Attacking Midfielder / Winger / Playmaker, scores, versatile - used to be defensive midfielder Sounds good, though not filling a hole in the squad really, he has the no 10 shirt there sounds doubtful tbh

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Heard someone say on football weekly he's unlikely even to make the euros because laurant blanc is notoriously lazy at going to watch players who may break into the team, and normally rather prefers to keep side settled. That and he's still got a reputation to shake off there. Would be shame, him behind benzema would certainly be formidable. Whether he'd be played with nasri and ribery behind benzema is to be seen, would be scary but wonder if would suffer from being narrow, which tends to happen when you try and cram multiple creative attacking midfielders into the same team.

    Papiss Cissé

wonder if pardew thinks he's still struggling to adapt to the english game?

    James Perch

It is a sad reaction, and would probably support retrospective action coming in to punish going like that, Reina can't do what he did and was stupid to, but jesus no need for stupid theatrics.
  6. Ba maybe harsh but thought there were at least 2 counters he messed up by neither having the pace to punish liverpool or laying it off to someone who did, was thinking at time if that was ben arfa we'd have had a goal. Still maybe 5 is a little harsh. Jonas had a poor game out of position, off since his style so suits that position in a way but anyway, I'd approve giving santon a run there again and playing jonas instead of guthrie in a midfield 3 next game.
  7. well that was brilliant. Not sure there was a pass on to Cisse tbh for the second goal, reckon it was a inzagi style completely offside one We deserved it though, we occaisionally had some nerves about passing, but we played good footy, could have had more, were maybe fortunate to keep a clean sheet but only because of Bellamy. Krul - 6 - looking a little shakey of late, should get a boost from clean sheet though. Simpson - 5 hasn't really got the 'keep it on the deck' memo the rest of the team have had Williamson - 7 best I've seen him, unfortunate not to score, only thing marking him down was his brief crashing into Krul for second game in a row Perchenpauer - 8 - brilliant game. Do think as funny as it was, the going down clutching head is a bit embarassing...was very funny though Jonas - 5 - didn't fit in as full back, Bellamy was all over him. Was much much much better in the center last week Cabaye - 7 - getting back to his best imo, not sure why some people are marking him down. Some of his passing was going astray but betting better than he has been. Tiote - 8 - at his best, breaking up play, we have so much more midfield possession with him and Cabaye in the team Guthrie - 6 - Did alright but demonstrated why Cabaye and Tiote are ahead of him imo, though as a third midfield guy it meant we could control the tempo. Hatem Ben Arfa - 8 - The maestro pulling our attacking strings. Magnificent crossing form him today, Ba - 5 - quiet game, gone off the boil a bit, but holds up alright, on wing works hard but doesn't have the pace to beat people, stalled a few counter attacks. Cisse - 8 - top class finisher. Excellent.
  8. I assumed april fool at 9am, when it was still down started to worry lol
  9. How long until RVP is officially having a goal drought?
  10. him and avram grant should form a dream team of sinking clubs
  11. mcleash had birmingham in a similar position last season didn't he? looked reasonably safe and went into freefall at very end of season. Terrible manager, excepting carling cup i suppose
  12. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm on that penalty
  13. Wolves finishing is worse than liverpools
  14. Don't think anyone expected torres to actually score that lol
  15. MON's sunderland look great and then look boring in fits and starts. Hope they're back to being average for rest of season.

    Alan Pardew

hmmm doubt he'd get a better job than this, not to say he wouldn't get a similar one but doubt he'd get a shot at a champions league job and we're just at the point now of beginning to knock on that door as a club. Acknowledging he was a bit of a twat earlier though, suppose nicely honest
  17. no width, no tempo, utter rubbish.
  18. oh dear. City are terrible though.
  19. tired out, has been for a while. No way should mancini still be playing him, should have rested him a bit ago and he'd be firing all cylinders again by now.
  20. Fulham having one of their goal happy games, odd team never sure how well they're going to play
