Louise Taylor is terrible, but don't actually mind barry glendenning, he's normally very tongue in cheek and quite funny. Has also given us credit fairly often. If all Sunderland fans were like him they might actually have some wit at rtg. Having said that, yeah poor coverage domestic teams, think their european coverage is pretty good though.

I think still reliant on Totenham's poor run continuing and think they looked back to their best in their last game so not sure really

FFS I saw this thread bumped and for a minute thought this whole season had been a dream

First one a definate penalty, second one seems soft, but by the letter of the law...players get away with it so much, clearly refs decide early if they mind or not...seems a sad way to settle the game as well. Barca have been a bit off the boil but always threatening, AC Milan have been sort of rubbish but still capable of scoring...

Am I alone in not minding italian teams being cynical fuckers, it seems there raison d'etre...know bit of national characturing there but I find it oddly appealing in a way

Barca have lost width and directness in some kind of puritanical desire for everyone to be a passing midfielder, only Alves really breaks from the mould. As such think they're easier to defend really, it's not as convincing as the team last year, is it the shoehorning in of fabergas into the squad?

They're just not defending well enough at all, not sure they can get away with this deep defending, they need to put some pressure on barca in possession bit higher up the pitch. They do counter threateningly, but less threatening than barca atm

Yep. Not a LB and never will be. Aye, shouldn't be put up against pacey and dangerous winger if having to fill in.

Feel we can be the squad that finishes the season not biting fingers nervous, just having fun. We won't relax with the possibility of europe but not crushing pressure the ideal really. Still think they're a pretty great team, but seem on a dip atm, hopefully get a win, not the end of the world if get a draw though.

At this point much prefer him be allowed to recover fully and have a good preseason than rushed back to sit on the bench for the last few games. Hope he comes good next year, must be rough on him.

Jonas in the middle was great against Norwich, would be harsh on guthrie but is he definately out injured? Allows Cabaye forward and covers so much ground.
