Our defence was great with Taylor in it lets not forget, I'd have no issue with him starting again but with another good defender knocking on the door for competition everyone should play better. With the cups and potentially europa league imo they'll all have plenty of chances.

yeah he's a wanker and biggest issue perhaps, just wonder if needs arm around the shoulder more than is getting at a team that imo has players that are good enough to keep them up but has been rotated unbelievably throughout season so never settled. Would be a complete gamble but if we make europe could be a creative outlet when ben arfa needs resting. His passing is superb. Still yeah gamble

I love how he's forced the issue into pardew playing him cisse and ba up front, think Pardew reasonably sensibly would rather play it a little safer but can't avoid having any of them. Was nicely timed sub as well, got most the 90mins but also got a standing ovation and hi-fives all round the bench

Think there's a chance but not expected. Different challenge than Liverpool, not going to be physically bullied or need to head it so much, going to have to be wary of pace in behind, and tbh slightly more worring for perchenpauer and willamson perhaps.

Exactly, always a player available to pass too, much less hoofing. Don't think solved issue of width though, think we were lucky a bit bellamy didn't get a goal or set one up.

Tbh they're probably a better team than liverpool so could see us struggling. Just need to force it, be direct, hit on counter, don't let them pass us into the ground.

Arsenal are pretty ok with fair play and have a reasonable war chest from various sales including the nasri and fabergas ones iirc. That's normally the gunners complaint, the money is there, wenger stubbornly refuses to spend it, like a reverse dagliesh

Slightly getting paranoid about arsenal thinking he'd fill the fabergas shaped whole in their team now Gotze is staying at Dortmund. Please please cling on to him no matter what, his style and ability is so very rare.
