I think there's more defenders available that we can get that are upgrades on Williamson than just Vertonghen

We also need a striker who can cover for Ba and Cisse while they're away. If we're letting Ranger, Lovenkrands and Best go, we must be bringing one, maybe two strikers. One for the development squad, and another to have a go while our Geordie boys from Senegal are doing their thing in Africa. Best? i we had Ben Arfa and Hoilett on the wings i would be confident in him putting the abundance of chances away that would obviously come his way.

Tbf its hard to look good when Blackburn are utterly awful and will drag any decent players down with them..... I have seen enough this season to suggest his level is ALOT higher than Blackburn.

M'Vila is a top top signing if it comes off, about Vertonghen i still dont understand this from an Arsenal point of view. They already have 3 top class CB's but they have only 1 top class fullback and he just got injured again ( Sagna) Surely fullback should be the next target for them no?

Bit of both really, Pieters is more proven but he has much more potential on the defensive side and the attacking side. And yes we were linked with him last year..... I wonder if this is what Douglas was on about when he said on Twitter earlier about the next Graham Carr identified rough diamond that we are tracking.

Yh me too..... CB, fullback and CM to go into the line up and young versatile forward to rotate and back up the forwards we have and i'll be happy. No need to buy utter dross just to make the squad bigger, we have squad players as it is.... its time to buy quality.

Tbf with all the games we will have next year if we do well in the cups..... its not like people that are usually on the bench are going to be there all season long. There will be lots of chances for everyone next season and i do expect more rotation than we had this season.

Depends what good sides, because i dont think play 4-4-2 is wise against the likes of Arsenal, City and Spurs...... Works well against the likes of Chelsea and Man U though because the types of teams they are.

Agreed, i prefer a 4-3-3 as the main system but certain teams will require different systems..... one of the great things about this squad is that they seem to be very adaptable.

The red armband part ruins it for me..... if it was just the black on the arm it would be fine personally.

When i say 4 players for the first team i mean 4 players for the first team squad.....

Personally think we will sign 4 players for the first team and if any big names are sold then we will replace them.
