  1. Isn't this bad for us? Means they're less likely to beat Chelsea? Going for 3rd mate, going for 3rd...
  2. Thier gameplan only worked because of Barca's awful finishing, it wasnt like 09 were they restricted Barca to f*ck all.... It was a case of Barca missing the chances and Chelsea taking thiers, quite simple really.
  3. Exactly when everybody and thier mother knows that Giroud has a release clause for around 10-15m...... Anyway its not exactly a problem, just go and snap up Douglas for 5m
  4. Tiote-Cabaye-Eriksen Seriously tho i reckon thats more unlikely than signing Belhanda.... My Dream 4 signings are Douglas/M'biwa, Debuchy, Belhanda and Hoilett.
  5. Well done to Chelsea, but and theres a huge but as far as the whole tie is concerned...... despite parking the bus, Barca still created 5 or 6 relatively easy chances that usually they would put away on a very small pitch..... 1. The pitch is not only quicker but its wider 2. If they create similar chances in the 2nd leg i dont see them choking infront of goal again. Good luck to Chelsea but unless they score atleast once and i mean that because iam not sure 2 goals over the 2 legs will be enough. Also Fabregas showed tonight and has done most of the season why i said Barca should'nt sign him, he is never a CM in a million years and he needs space to operate and at Barca you dont have space. When it comes to finding space in tight areas, pressing, decision making he is not even as good as Thiago atleast for Barca. Cracking player in final third mind ( although he was shit there tonight) if Pep has any sense at all he will play Pedro/Cuenca/Sanchez in two of the wide areas and play Iniesta in midfield. I facepalm everytime i see Iniesta outwide its just a waste of time.
  6. All capable of 10+ goals a season. I reckon there's 60+ goals between them. Imagine how many assists Cabaye would get
  7. I just don't even know what to say. Say nothing. Ignore it and, hopefully, one day it'll go away.
  8. You don't think we have more important areas in the team where we need to improve if we want to become regular top 6 challengers? Goes like this to me of importance...... 1. Fullback 2.Centre back 3. Centre Midfielder 4. Depth. Same, though I'd say CB/FB are interchangeable in priority. Firstly, apart from Santon, the options we have at fullback (the likes of Simpson/Raylor/Perch) are hardly world beaters (as hardworking as they are) and secondly, we need a new first choice CB (Saylor would be it if it weren't for his recent injury record). Definitely need strengthening in defence, first and foremost. Yep i can definitely agree with all of that, i expect us to address all issues in the summer anyway especially with the extra revenue that europe will provide. Whether we keep all our key players or not is another entirely and one i dont think i can predict either way.
  9. He looks like a pig. Really? i always thought he looked like this...... http://image.gamespotcdn.net/gamespot/images/2010/special-features/atggv_2010/characters/general_raam/311x264/generalraam_311x264.jpg For comparison purposes...... http://footballmanagerstory.com/scout/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Ryan-Shawcross-17_12973681.jpg

Yh i went back and noticed that, good on him lol
  12. Supposedly its distrubuted across the top 2 leagues and theres rules in place that prevent stuff like what happens in La Liga in Germany...... Anyway this is fantastics new to me, i greatly enjoy Bundesliga and its fantastically run league and as competitive as any in europe but what it lacks is the exposure and money of the other top leagues. This tv deal solves the money side to an extent and hopefully they can market it better in the future. One of the reasons PL is so successful and loved through out the world is because of how well its marketed, hopefully Bundesliga can marketed in similar fashion in the future. Also yh considering this is a Sky tv deal would this mean that Skysports would show it in this country?

Lol thier logic is outstanding over there, reckoning that buying Sigurdsson must mean that one of Ba,Cisse or Ben Arfa is on his way Anyone mentioned to them idiots that they play in completely different positions? If it is true and not just paper rubbish.
  14. He has made players like Enrique, Neil Taylor and others who have had fantastic season's look like complete and utter scrubs. What a talent he is.
  15. Personally Douglas or Mbiwa, simply because of how much both of them would compliment Coloccini in my view iam frankly not fussed either way..... I like Sigursson and reckon he would look really good in the 4-3-3 but is'nt 8m a bit much? look what Ashley has done to us ffs if its over 5m it seems excessive to me now
  16. Gomezzzzzzzzz, fantastic work from Lahm there too.
  17. Ben Arfa actually reminds me of a mixture of Ribery and Robben...... Robben is explosive but tends to go in and out of games while Ribery is creative and seems to be constantly involved. Ben Arfa does both imo, before anyone goes nuts i am not saying he's better than them lol.
  18. When you are in 4 competitions which we will be next season you need depth...... And think about it if Ben Arfa or Ba were to get injured you need someone to come in and quite frankly we dont have much atm. Hoilett provides that imo, and considering all the games its not like he would be stuck on the bench all year round. He will play plenty of games. Considering his contract is up aswell its a no brainer to me, we need an extra forward even if we sell no one and Hoilett fits the bill if you ask me.
  19. Does'nt M'biwa have that 5m release clause?
  20. The three were paper based only i think. Anyone get a journal today? Mark Douglas @MsiDouglas @LJH2402 It's in the paper fella. I'm suggesting Martin, Vertonghen, Hoilett... If Champs Lge is secured Interesting...... i do prefer Douglas to Vertonghen but all signings that would significantly strengthen us none the less.

    Gervinho

Exactly, he's been one of the reasons the performances of Arsenal have improved and plus Oxlade isnt ready...... I thought that was clear when he played us and looked like a lost puppy all night against Simpson. He has talent yh but theres more to starting for a top club than pure talent.
  22. There's serious photoshop potential in that Cisse pic
