Nope i said it because of his on the pitch demeanor and the fact the more frustrated he got the more we switched to 4-4-2 so i assumed Pardew did it to get Ba a goal to keep him sweet. I do support him and will continue to support him, its just his recent on the pitch attitude gave the look of someone who wanted to get a goal for himself rather than helping the team. And i dont like to see that, i might be totally wrong and i hope iam wrong but thats how i interpreted his body language.

I dont know what we are tracking but i have finally fell on the type of player i think we need...... Arteta type that is well adversed at playing the Cabaye role (furthest of midfield 3) but primary role is to sit deep alongside Tiote and spray passes and help keep possession better. Also because Cabaye and this new player ( in theory atleast) can play both roles means they can interchange and swap roles and make us unpredictable. Only problem is where do we find such a player ? I dont think we need a player like Sigurdsson because iam very impressed with Cabaye in that role just need someone alongside Tiote like i just mentioned but can also play the Cabaye role. To keep us unpredictable and because of inevitable injuries and suspensions.

We'd have quite a few more losses without Simpson's defensive quality this season, and as for not being allowed to handle the ball -- don't tell that to Liverpool haha. You can talk all the s*** you want but the fact remains that Simpson has saved quite a few sure goals in tight games and he deserves credit for that. I haven't seen anything that special from Santon in his time here, potential sure but nothing that really blew my socks off, and Simpson has pulled our asses out of the fire quite a few times so I think he's earned his place this season at least. If we end up bringing in a real left back then let Santon and Simpson compete for the job, but I don't think it should be an automatic change. I see nothing wrong with that, sorry for responding the way i did and welcome I prefer Santon for his ability on the ball and much superior first touch and quite frankly defensively he's quite decent no Enrique but good none the less. But i understand your view, i dont necessarily agree with it but i understand it.
