I think we would all love to see that, but i just cant see Pardew moving Jonas and Santon it maybe makes sense to do so but i cant see him doing it.
-
No, it would go to a tribunal, it would be around £4m IMO, when they go down I still would'nt think twice about it.

FFS what a goon

Could work, also when you factor in the fact that HBA and Marveaux are both wingers or have played there that it could easily switch back to a 4-4-2....... Reckon it could work Jonas just as well too, would need a pair of quality fullbacks to pull it off tho, Damn u Simpson

nothing in the quotes about workrate. Yep definite headline spin there from the Mirror, good job for his sake that he doesnt post here. Headline Spin is'nt welcomed

Not had much competition tbf. Disagree... Since Sir Bobby; Souness, Roeder, Allardyce, Kinnear and Hughton have been our manager. That is a s*** load of managers = lot of competitions. (understand what you mean, just disagree with the statment ) Tbf thats like saying because theres 18 other teams in La Liga that Barca and Madrid have competition.......

What's you username on there? BlueMoon4Eva2k12 Anyway Balotelli is miles better than Dzeko IMO, Dzeko has been average for months and everytime Balotelli plays he positively effects how City plays and the whole team play better as a result...... Yes he has his moments where he gets stupid red cards but unlike Dzeko he actually contributes to the team, while Dzeko cant even control the ball atm..... his first touch and decision making are awful.

Not had much competition tbf. True enough

I want HBA in the line up as much as anyone, but i fully understand why Pardew doesnt want to start him with Guthrie and Perch in midfield, Best and Shola upfront and Simpson at RB........ When they come back( Tiote and Cabaye) and Simpson is replaced by a quality fullback i hope to see Pardew give him more chances...... But atm the defensive cover is too weak to have someone like Ben Arfa playing on the right side of a 4-4-2...... Let's not use Ben Arfa not playing to cloud our judgement, Pardew is doing an insane job. Our best manager since Sir Bobby IMO.

As long as he sings I'm all for it. Wears that half-waistcoat, too. And the Umpa Lumpa facepaint

Monday night to Saturday evening is right on the limit of Ledley's recovery time ................ and that's assuming he didn't get a kick in the Liverpool game. That said, Kaboul and Dawson aren't bad and most of the absentees from last night are expected to be fit. A more important bearing on the game is both Tiote and Cabaye missing for you. 2-0 to Spurs is my guess. I knew it ffs, there goes my confidence

After the Liverpool v Spurs game, Sky brought up a stat that we have the 3rd best chance conversion rate in the league. Only bettered by the Manc's, not bad

Central midfield worrys me, you can get away with it at Blackburn, home games also against the likes of Villa, but its a whole different thing to do it at Spurs. Tbf Parker and Livermore aint great as i said earlier Modric in an advanced role isnt a tenth of the player that he is in his usual deep role...... If Parker and Livermore are the central pairing then i think we can match them..... I am just praying VDV is'nt back, not just because of him as a player but it will allow Modric to play his usual role and then the midfield becomes a major issue again. Aye it does depend a bit on who comes back for them.......so frustrating that Cabaye and Tiote arent available. Even Cabaye would have made a huge difference, all for a bloody FA Cup tie that we lost

They were shit because of a few reasons....... Lennon usually stretches the play and gives them alot more width and allows Bale to have a free role. VDV's link play and creativity and the fact he allows Modric to play deeper where is more effective and Krancjar is gash out wide. And they had no creativity from deep because they had to play two defensive midfielders in Livermore and Parker who provide nothing going forward....... It was'nt just a one off, i have seen them like this before when there is no VDV and Lennon they struggle to create because they have little to no creativity and Bale and Ade is asked to create magic. People talk about Modric and Bale but Lennon and VDV are just as important to how Tottenham play IMO.
-
If they have the same team as tonight, at the weekend i think we can get atleast a draw........ Modric isnt the same player when he's played further forward, Kranjcar is gash outwide and Parker and Livermore while good defensively dont really create anything for the forwards..... They relied heavily on Bale and Adebayor to create something out of nothing, and quite frankly if you dont let Bale to roam he's easy to mark as long you have pace. I am really confident, despite no Tiote and Cabaye. Knowing our luck, Lennon and VDV will be back.
-
Ofcourse they do, it is the mackems we are talking about after all the delusion they exhibit on a daily basis makes spurs fans look normal.
-
If he keeps playing like he does he can grow a f*cking afro for all i care.
-
Sounds like Irish Bale to me and we all saw what Simpson did to him earlier in season at St James'
-
Agreed i would like to see this also, another thing about the 4-3-3 is it forces Ba outwide which is simply insane...... Mind you having said all of this to play the 4-2-3-1/4-4-2 to its utmost potential with Ben Arfa in the side we need two quality fullbacks...... It's been said before but this summer is huge for us to see where we will end up long term; if we are able to make some cheap astute signings, sign some of the current stars on long term contracts and ofcourse Alan Smith will be sodding off the wage bill
-
you weren't doing that though mate. You were playing without wingers and three in the middle. The only way I can see Ben Arfa in the team is wide left. but at the moment it isn't going to happen. Ben Arfa and Jonas were wingers atleast thats how i meant to show, plus Ba was playing off Cisse not in the middle....... Maybe i should of wrote the formation in a more clear manner and more like how it would be on the pitch so people could understand easier....
-
According to ESPN that is Leon Best...... On Ben Arfa making Ba work even harder, i dont see it....... The only reason we struggle atm is because instead of Ba, Tiote, Cabaye,Jonas and Cisse working hard off the ball....... In recent weeks we have had Guthrie, Perch, Shola and Best..... I dont think it will matter a great deal as long those players mentioned are in the line up. Plus its not like we are drastically changing anything we are just putting Ben Arfa in for Obertan and with the work rate in the side( first eleven) i really dont see a problem.
-
LOL its from ESPN they add the average positions of the subs aswell which is why Obertan and Perch are there aswell...... Anyway i think my point stands lol.
