  1. Yeah Something along the lines of " I'm sad ".
  2. Smacks of angling for a new contract IMO, but if he were to leave i'd be surprised if he didn't go back to Man Utd. Mainly because they are the only club i could see paying the ridiculous money it would take, PSG would too but i can't see him wanting to go to France.
  3. There's a reason they have consistently tried to get rid of him, he's not good enough anymore. Luckily Rafa will know this and won't go near him.
  4. Would much rather get Lucas who is available for around 4m Why? Lucas is trash now, which is why he's available for 4m.
  5. I think it's more likely a foreign club is in his ear tbh.
  6. It's 15th June tbf, not many teams have. It's just that we have a history of this shit and obviously need signings.
  7. Yep the 7 needs to move slightly to the right, the numbers are too close together.
  8. I could tell you what positions are needed ( as could most of us i imagine) but telling you specific targets for each position i wouldn't have a hope in hell of doing. But Rafa doesn't need to hear my opinions tbh.
  9. Wew. Haven't heard of him in years
  10. Nice of the premier league to give us an easy win first game, the rest of the games look decent too.

Not even Hindsight imo, he was considerably better throughout his career. Although I'd argue the biggest issue was the obsession with 442 and forcing players out of position just because.

Absolutely no coincidence that Premier League striker Giroud is impacting the game with his well earned grit and steel.

I think it does as well, mainly because we seem to have fullbacks that are either great going forward and shite defending or vice versa. No point trying to force it just because, also this frees up the likes of Sterling, Alli etc etc to have more freedom.
  14. It's not really, trouble is Ashley for most of his tenure has been spiting himself. Run the club like shit and it's obvious it's going to be less attractive for new investers.
  15. It more says how mental English clubs are tbh, most foreign clubs buying and selling keepers will still go for "normal" prices.
  16. This seems a pretty big deal, if it were to actually happen. Some Billionaire investment alongside what ever the club makes could really give Rafa the financial power he needs to make us competitive over the long haul. That's assuming it happens of course.
  17. Some of you massively overrate the impact Rafa will have on players. He's not some sort of magician who clicks his fingers and people want to join, (Inb4 the gif ) because he's here doesn't mean players will want to join suddenly. It's what I was talking about when I said expectations will need to be tempered, as great as Rafa is he will not overcome the shitshow this club has been for nigh on a decade in one summer.
