Ranieri has a history of being incapable of turning things around when it goes to shit, he's very Pardew like in that way. Honestly they should have made this decision sooner, i don't see any evidence he's capable of stopping the slide and they could very easily get relegated.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

Aye completely agree, don't think it will happen either. They have had a great season regardless, wouldn't be against seeing them come up through the playoffs. -
Just looked it up because I was interested, he's played more than 45 minutes 7 times this season. Not really interested in arguing whether he's good or not, but it's pretty damn hard to look good with such little time.

He gave McClaren not far off 50m iirc (well more accurately the TV money did) so I wouldn't worry if that's the expectation. Problem is 50m isn't much in this day and age and I doubt it would be enough.

Thought that was obvious anyway, i think his opinion will be proved right mind.

Considering those awards are popularity contests nobody is touching them till Messi and Ronaldo retire/fall off a cliff.

Not the first time he looked to isolate a attacking fullback and it ended up badly. -
Class. I laughed reading the Mitro bit.
-
I know he was shite against Wolves which got him dropped to begin with but Lascelles has had multiple poor performances at this point and Hanley definitely isn't the answer long term. I wouldn't mind giving Mbemba and Clark a go, lets see if Rafa agrees.
-
Nah, want him to take them down. Ends the stupid myth that he doesn't take teams down.

While i appreciate the sentiment i'm not sure i'd want to see Fat Sam's face at any time tbh.

Be fucking class if Hull stay up and Palace go down after what Merson said.

How haven't you hung yourself yet? Probably see's it ending in failure. That's good. -
Fan was a freak for bringing a time to go banner to the game in the Arsenal end, then said basically they should be happy with 4th. Hate that attitude, what if a new manager improves them? besides finishing 4th every year shouldn't be seen as some sort of achievement. I think football pundits shouldn't be criticising fans at all in that manner. Aye.

Thinking that, wouldn't be surprised if Rafa's looking at possible alternative partnerships. -

Aye pic is necessary. -
I don't like to defend the league as i think it's mostly horrible quality wise ( other leagues are no better mind) but when Man Yoo are 6th and only lost 3 times all season i think it says the top of the league is quite competitive tbh. Could argue that everything below the top 6 is bad mind due to that.
-
Stifler is right tbh. Rafa is basically saying fuck me over in the summer again and he'll leave and who could blame him? "Making the same mistakes again" Basically means come correct or i'm gone, i don't think anyone expected him to quit now tbf.
-
I felt that way for a long time tbh, when Rafa arrived it helped somewhat but it didn't last that long and it had nothing more than the effect of a plaster on a shotgun wound.
-
I was actually hoping he would considering he gave Steve McClaren funds ffs, mainly due to TV money but still. Starting to think it won't be the case now sadly.
