Just looked it up because I was interested, he's played more than 45 minutes 7 times this season. Not really interested in arguing whether he's good or not, but it's pretty damn hard to look good with such little time.

He gave McClaren not far off 50m iirc (well more accurately the TV money did) so I wouldn't worry if that's the expectation. Problem is 50m isn't much in this day and age and I doubt it would be enough.

I don't like to defend the league as i think it's mostly horrible quality wise ( other leagues are no better mind) but when Man Yoo are 6th and only lost 3 times all season i think it says the top of the league is quite competitive tbh.
