Easy to forget this, other than the first two games which we didn't play well at all we have lost once in our last 10. Pretty confident it won't be long till we are top and stay there. -

I'd argue it was more to do with there's not many players of that level who want to drop down than the Sissoko situation tbh. Still think that will be the case in January, although i'm not particularly concerned as i believe we'll go up regardless. We just need to improve mentally and get more efficient in front of goal which i think we will as the season progresses. -
And we're done here.

Start him and Ritchie please.

Pure speculation, like. It's more to do with his godawful performance against Wolves plus Clark's assured displays since then. That performance was no worse than Clark's against Reading or Lascelles against Fulham. Aside from that anyway he was part of the team which conceded zero goals in over 400 minutes and a big reason why. Let's not act like he's been consistently bad, if anything it's the opposite. Clark has been great from what I have seen so deserves his place until further notice, but the majority of Mbemba's performances have been great and all 3 of the CBs in question have had poor performances. I don't dislike Mbemba but this is tosh, like. It's not at all based on what I have seen, Wolves was apparently shite but he's been very good in every game he's played Wolves aside that has been on television. We went into that Wolves game not conceding in over 400 minutes, he had a bad game but let's not act like it was a consistent thing. Clark has come in and done a good job and deserves his place till he fucks up but that doesn't mean Mbemba crap and it was a long time coming or some shit.

Wolves no but everyone is saying he was utter shite so I'll go along with that, Reading I did yes because that weird bloke was periscoping it.

Not expecting us to thrash them, i just think we do a bad job of when we get a lead of maintaining pressure to kill the game off. We have already dropped points this season because of it, i don't blame anyone in particular as it's something that takes a while to get mentally right but it's definitely something we need to improve on IMO.

Eh? Murphy and Hanley are not going to come on man even if they both were on the bench when we have Mitrovic and Mbemba. You are just being ridiculous. -

eh? I know that Mitrovic and Murphy are similar players in that they hold the ball up, but when we already have a centre back in Mbemba on the bench wouldn't you not prefer Murphy on the bench than Hanley? It makes no difference as neither of them are going to come on. -

Hasn't rotated enough here IMO, he's only made two changes and personally i'd be making more. -

Urgh hate the persistence with Diame and Gayle but i trust that we'll get the result regardless. -
Every time I hear "The problem with zonal marking is..." I just cringe. It's lazy criticism. Lots of teams mark zonally and barely concede from set pieces. But one team does it and concedes and suddenly the whole system is shit. Yes, a zonal system can result in players not marking players. But you can't use a man system if you have a small team. For that matter, man marking systems can draw players out of position. So if a team doesn't use either system correctly there'll always be a free man in a penalty area. Personally I think there should be a mixture of the two, you put your best defenders on the biggest threats, then the rest mark zonally. Which is what most good teams do anyway.
