Interested to see how the defense holds up without Mbemba as he's looked head and shoulders above everyone in this division so far from the games i have seen.

His performance against a very tricky player in Anya on Saturday shouldn't be underestimated. I tend to favour Rafa's judgement on players over yours tbh and Anita's probably played more games since Rafa came to the club than any other player. He's an important member of the squad, very important. yeah he was solid against Derby. Been impressive at FB But I'm not about to rewrite history. Chancel is looking head and shoulders above the division. He's adjusting to the physicality - at least at this level. And he's way faster than most of the attackers here. I'd argue this league is more physical than the PL, the refs definitely allow teams to get away with more anyway ( more due to being inept than anything else though ) so if Mbemba is adjusting to that side of it all then it's great news for us.

Us and Huddersfield are 1st and 2nd in the league, despite us both being one of the lowest in terms of shots on goal. In fact, we've scored 10 goals from 21 shots on target. Clinical. I'm confident that we will but that can't stay that way. Absolutely impossible to maintain through out an entire season we'll need to create more chances as the season progresses.

Conte will probably do it soon and will no doubt make it a success for Chelsea. There's a reason he hasn't tbh, it's asking to be killed in this league. It's just not a good system to use up against teams that play with lots of width as they will force constant 2 v 1s in wide areas. It's also the reason why Allegri scrapped it in the CL for Juve.

He hasn't costed us a single goal yet The whole criticism is absolutely ridiculous, even if he were as bad as people are acting like he's been then it's only natural considering his age and being in a new country. As said before everybody says they want to give foreign players time and when it comes to be putting their money where their mouth is nobody actually wants to. Even ignoring that he's been nowhere near as bad as most are saying from what I have seen.

Didnt we just pretty much go a year without winning an away game. There will be some ugly wins required in this league, especially away from home. We did what was needed to be done. The game plan worked perfectly. Yeah like everyone else you are completely missing the point. Of course the game plan worked perfectly, i'm talking about how i felt during the game. I'm not used to seeing it work so thus got nervous that a goal was going to happen which is hardly surprising considering how many times we have done this and conceded from absolutely nothing. Obviously i don't give a shit now, but during the game watching it wasn't exactly something i was comfortable with considering that usually it means we lose. I'll be fine after a few wins mind. Whatever it worked and hopefully it will work in the future, but considering the recent history of this football club i don't see what's so surprising about my comment tbh.

I obviously don't care because we won and it seems reasonably effective under Rafa, but i will never enjoy watching us put up two banks of four and containing a team. Didn't matter because Derby ideas stopped at long aimless balls and crap crosses but still.

Not sure it's a penalty for Arsenal but overall i thought they deserved to win regardless, Southampton went into full blown protect mode after they scored early on.
