Was the 80s though, that type of player was a lot more common than today with all the athletes running around giving the impression that the pitch is a lot smaller than it was. From the little i have seen of Ganso i reckon he would have been a star 20-30 years ago, the game has changed though and that type of player is very rare now for a reason.

It's all relative. I actually think his decision making is quite good in the final third Not having that, on a break he almost always gives straight to the opposition. If his decision making was actually good that assist number would be well into the teens.

7 assists isn't bad all things considering tbh, my issue with him is he usually makes the wrong decision in the final third and to me for that reason he'll always be inconsistent player no matter who he plays for.

Yep. My order of preference would be CM, winger, left back and center back. Think we have enough forwards really.

Most of what I have read about him during the Euros says he's been playing out of position and with less freedom than he usually does for his club. I'll be interested to see how much difference it makes.
