  1. Been seeing people online saying he's the anti-Podolski in the sense he never performs for his country but amazing for his club. I'd still take him regardless though, his talent is too great.
  2. They aren't as strong as is being made out imo. I feel like this is the case for a lot of teams, Brazil for example IMO are heavily reliant on Neymar for creativity. But that's international football for you and partly what makes it interesting for most.
  3. I don't, I say it about specific papers which I've had experience with like Tuttosport in Italy. Not entire countries, in my experience Portugal media specifically is agent-tastic.
  4. Should have trusted my initial feeling.
  5. 8 minute silence for the USA not making the World Cup, 2 minutes for every place they failed to get.

That's the part that's confused me The end product bit is weird too.
  7. I'm just looking forward to watching football where all the best players are not on a handful of teams tbh. I usually don't care but I'm now in the mood for a more balanced competition.

What? I'm utterly baffled just reading that, can't possibly understand how Sterling felt.
  9. We've barely been linked with anyone other than this tbf, I wouldn't pay much attention to it. I'm sure Rafa knows we need a striker, the issue is will Ashley allow him to spend. Which in fairness is a pretty damn huge issue.
  10. After doing some research he's a CM. I suspect Rafa (quite rightly I may add) realises we need to improve on our current options there.
  11. So he didn't deny it, interesting. Anyone know what type of midfielder he is? AM or CM? We could use both regardless anyway.
  12. Rumors from Portugal and Turkey are one in the same to me. In the sense I never believe anything that comes from either one.
  13. It starts on the day E3 ends, quite clearly the organisers had my entertainment needs in mind. I thank them for thinking about me tbh.
  14. I mean he's talented for sure, but consistency has always been a massive issue even going back to his Palermo days. I'd be absolutely shocked if he even performs more consistently than someone like Shaqiri.
  15. He's not that good, would bet money that if West Ham signed him he'd show up for like 6 games in a season at best.
  16. Different FFP no? pretty sure the championship has it's own rules.
  17. It feels similar to how Pep ended at Barcelona tbh, well except that Zidane actually ended it with the CL anyway.
  18. I feel like this happens every year with Ronaldo and it just results in a new contract I'll believe it when I see it.
  19. Pochettino seems unlikely because he just signed a 5 year contract at Spurs. Whoever it is has to command Ronaldo's respect, that's one of the biggest reasons for Zidane's success seeing as he clearly didn't want to play for Rafa.
  20. In all seriousness you don't improve signing players like that. We need to be signing players who will actually improve the team not more "depth". I don't see Allen starting and everyone going "yeah I'm glad he's starting and not Shelvey or Diame". If we are signing a CM it should be someone who is obviously better than what we have and to me Allen isn't that. Luckily I think Rafa knows that and won't be interested.
