They aren't as strong as is being made out imo. I feel like this is the case for a lot of teams, Brazil for example IMO are heavily reliant on Neymar for creativity. But that's international football for you and partly what makes it interesting for most.

Pochettino seems unlikely because he just signed a 5 year contract at Spurs. Whoever it is has to command Ronaldo's respect, that's one of the biggest reasons for Zidane's success seeing as he clearly didn't want to play for Rafa.

In all seriousness you don't improve signing players like that. We need to be signing players who will actually improve the team not more "depth". I don't see Allen starting and everyone going "yeah I'm glad he's starting and not Shelvey or Diame". If we are signing a CM it should be someone who is obviously better than what we have and to me Allen isn't that. Luckily I think Rafa knows that and won't be interested.
