Had a mare of a week so far, got Fellaini, Cisse and Ben Arfa to play hopefully they salvage something for me. -
My fantasy team hopes your feeling is right.

Neuer has fantastic ability with his feet so your losing nothing tbh. Anyway it would never happen as Bayern never sell.

Wasn't bothered about the result i just wanted a good performance but after seeing those comments i want smash them into really tiny bits. Come on ! -
Fantastic player, he seems to be one of those players as time goes in people forget how truly great he was. To use an example i feel Michael Laudrup is another one who has time goes on the more underrated he gets. One of those players like mentioned he never really had a position but sort of just floated everywhere but unfortunately as also mentioned earlier missing key games which could have cemented his legacy. Still Juve and Czech Republic still have got close to replacing him which says a lot about how good he was especially for Juve inability to replace him. I completely forgot about that Lazio team too, what a side that was. Nearly bankrupted the club building that side mind lol.

Fabregas can't fill Xavi's void, he just isnt that type of player he never has been and never will be. Thiago is the only one in the squad right now who can fill that role as far as like for like style and technique goes. Also Iniesta in Xavi's role is a waste of his talent. Sergi Samper might be able to fill the role in the long term too but he is years away at this stage.

Destined to be bottom tbh, i genuinely don't see a worse team in the league no offence to Reading. southampton looked awful vs Wigan the one game you can really judge them on thus far plus their confidence has bound to have taken a hit Hard to say really, Southampton could have easily beat City and Man Yoo and were quite unlucky against Wigan too. Ok they were awful against Arsenal but they have shown enough that they can win games in this league with a little bit more luck. Reading have shown practically nothing to me.

This is what I mean, I'm unsure why the negativity is so widespread on here. I can't see anything other than a close game. I'd say we're favourites due to home advantage and a couple of key injuries for you. If Neville is playing in centre midfield then you've got every chance. Phil Neville. Because we have half a team out and going to one of the tougher away games on the calendar, can't see anything but an Everton win. And i usually am very positive in almost every game we play, i can't see anything with this game though. -

Very, he hasn't done anything in months. Might be controversial but i rate Lennon higher.
-
No point in worrying about shit like that, all clubs are at risk of that. Just enjoy him and the other players we have and if something happens we deal with it.

The league is over. They won't drop 8 points. They dropped 23 points last season.

It really wouldn't be 4-4-2 with that personnel anyway, it would most likely be Miralles outwide and Osman or Fellaini off Jelavic. There's no chance in hell of Fellaini paying anywhere else other than off Jelavic btw as it's proven to be very dangerous. -
Don't agree tbh, we have not looked weak defensively in recent games Krul has not had to make many saves. Even against Chelsea how many saves did Krul make? Our problem has been creating and going forward not defensively, Tiote won't help that.

Pretty sure he said we was in a different league financially and what we can pay players. -

Internationals are f*cking shite and should be banned. -
1. Krul 2. HBA 3. Coloccini 4. Cabaye 5. Tiote I consider Cabaye more important than Tiote for a number of reasons, but mainly we have a few who can do the holding job in midfield but other than Cabaye who do we have who can create and pass through teams? there is really no one. The other 6 can be mixed and matched depending on form.

Is Van Dijk a CB or fullback?

Ashley invests purely on a high sell on basis, if he can get a player for 20m who is guaranteed a significant profit then he will do it. The reason he was willing to spend 6.7m on Anita and not on Debuchy was because of his age and high resale value. It's frustrating but we know how it works at this stage, we are going to have soldier on and accept the negatives that come with Ashley's leadership as there is a lot of positives too. I remember this time last year there was similar unrest and then we went and spent close to 10m on Cisse and everything was positive again. I for one would not be surprised at all if we are active in January again. -

Without a doubt, Everton are heavily built around wing play and aerial prowess with Baines, Pienaar, Jelavic and Fellaini. I wouldn't want Fellaini and Jelavic up against Perch he would just get dominated. It's a case of horses for courses really, Williamson is much better suited to deal with Everton's attack. -
Funny how overblown the reaction has been to the start, yes it hasn't been great but have a look at the table..... Spurs and Liverpool both have less points and Arsenal only have 1 more point. It's hardly panic stations just yet.
