  1. If that happens then Ben Arfa would have scored our 998th, 999th and 1000th premier league goal. Surely it's destiny
  2. Bigi's attitude really defies his age, you would think he's a seasoned pro with the way he conducts himself. Extremely impressed.
  3. Stuart Pearce, that is all.
  4. Chris Samba? Was desperate to move from Blackburn and the british window was closed tbf.
  5. Really not sure an established PL player would move to Russia, how many have done that in recent years? apart from the ones who were past it. There's a reason a lot of Brazilians from Portugal and other minor leagues go to Russia because of the really significant money increase. Not like there's an issue with money in this country, really doubt HBA would go to Russia. Especially after his quotes a few months back when Tevez was suppose to be going PSG " Tevez going to PSG is like me going to a Big Club in Switzerland" Might be being a bit Naive but i really think HBA would only leave for a massive Spanish, English or Italian club or maybe even Bayern if they needed a Ribery replacement.
  6. How many half chances has he had though? like 2 or 3. Cisse isn't the problem, creating chances for him is. That and it's quite obvious Ba and Cisse don't work as a 2.
  7. Fellaini would have shit tonnes of space inbetween our midfield and defence though and i'd argue space out wide would be the lesser of two evils. In any case i would trust our midfielders to get and back support if that became a problem. ( the space out wide)

    Alan Pardew

Aye but TT is right about the media and tactics part though, not been a good start in that regard 4 points or not.
  9. i did the same when he scored against Wigan only this time my celebrations were cut short
  10. Love him, has a great talent and seems such a nice lad to boot. I have no problems with him having significant minutes in the Premier League still very raw but has a very wise head on his shoulders which defies his age. Very pleased
  11. Tbf his attitude in general has spot on since he joined, i don't know what they do in France but i see nothing which represents a trouble maker. Either Pards is a genius when it comes to man management or they are complete shat at it in France. Won't see a bad word said about him from our side.
  12. What makes you say that? plus if Marveaux is to play on the left like people are asking it's more of a 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1.
  13. Exactly what i would do and the same personnel for that matter, but will it happen
  14. Never understood this, it's not just better for flair it's also better results it's not like we are all out attack and shat defensively using 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 tbh. Anyway very pessimistic about this game probably a narrow defeat.
  15. Cmon man i'm not the only one Also i don't have a beard
  16. Maybe Carver will take control and play 4-3-3 Actually that would just piss me off even more knowing it will be gone again, f*cking cock tease
  17. Whether we want to accept it or not the expectation levels of Cabaye are higher than this time last year too, performances like today probably would have been ignored a year ago but we expect more now. Rightly so tbf but he still isn't suited to playing that deep, free him up Pards
  18. Would love to see a explosive winger in the Ben Arfa mould to play on the left and have Ba and Cisse rotate for the CF spot. Would never happen, but a lad can dream
  19. Depending on Simpson's injury we might have to play them whether he want's to or not. Personally would like to see 4-3-3 with the same midfield as last year(Cabaye-Tiote-Jonas) and Anita at RB. Seems a bit of a pipe dream though.
  20. Cabaye free kick at the end for me, i was certain it was in i even jumped in the air and shouted Dreamboat
  21. Watching Arsenal today it is so obvious that Steve Bould has had a massive effect on them as far as defence goes it's no surprise that they have 3 clean sheets in a row and there's no where near as many holes to exploit in the back 4. Don't think they will be as good going forward this season but i'm quite confident they will be miles better defensively due to that tbh.
  22. No chance he's that! He hasn't got the engine or athleticism for that role. Yaya Toure is the model of a box-to-box midfielder. He's better playing further forward. End of. Tbf you say that but Yaya is very lazy and hardly does any defensive work, i have lost count about the amount of goals City have conceded due to Yaya not tracking his marker. Cabaye's role in 4-3-3 where he's been most successful throughout his career is very similar to Yaya's at City. He's much more of a b2b midfielder than he is a playmaker anyway.
  23. Jonas is great against big teams on the wing for defensive insurance but he doesn't create anything so against most teams i'd rather see him at CM for games we expect to win. To use an example Ramires for Chelsea is great in their big games but against the smaller teams he's pretty useless. Same with Jonas on the wing against smaller teams.
  24. Bit hard considering how deep he's asked to play tbf. One of the main reasons most of us are so annoyed with 4-4-2.
