watched the whole game in poland after fucking driving for 9 hours. I think everyone knows we have players playing out of their skin eg simpson,williamson etc. not a good day and yes we let it slip. however need to accept it as a learn for our team rather than saying replace so and so. just watched the full game again this morning. The most pleasing aspect, aside from the fluidity in attacking, is the way in which we press the team. Its not blind pressing (akin to a fa cup tie) its measured intelligent pressing, sometimes 1v1 other times in packs, only using energy when required. Its something only the top sides in the league can do with such intelligence as lesser teams (who do not do it intelligently run out of team as they can only keep the pressing for maybe 70 minutes) Jonas and Tiote were communicating yesterday on this to make sure there was always someone protecting the back four but we made it difficult for stoke to get into positions where they could get in a good delivery. Delighted!

I went to the villa game when said relegation happened. Me and three mates were constantly abused during the game by three blokes around 40-45 as we were at the segregation between the fans. Outside the ground and after the game we noticed these two blokes and stupidly (although it felt like a good idea at the time) went over (red mist). We did not notice at the time but they had their sons with them(who must have been sat in a different place in the ground). What happened next was strange - they started chanting the usual guff (us being uneducated, inbred etc etc) whilst putting their kids in front of them as some sort of protection. Obviously we left well alone once kids were there but that memory stays with me. its the most cowardly thing I've seen at football. I actually don't want villa to go down, I think it would galvanise them in a similar way to ourselves. I think they are destined for mid/lower table for the next 5 years and I want them to live in that pointless position. That is all.

Hi all, Was not sure which thread to put this in. (also my first post) I viewed this forum for years as a guest but never joined. I've just relocated to Warsaw from London and was wondering if by any chance there are any fellow mags in Warsaw and where they watch the games? By background Im born and bred in newcastle but left when i was 18 - used to have a season ticket until I worked in London but still get back for the odd game. Any help would be appreciated. I've gambled on the token Irish bar today.
