  1. He posted this 2 days ago with no bites so posted almost exactly the same thing yesterday just to get a reaction. Then sits at home stroking himself to frenzy as it gets 2 pages of responses. Repetitive wum fuckwit.
  2. I wouldn't mind but he started this whole "fans to blame" and then fucks off without adding anything to the debate. He's just a fucking wum knob
  3. I agree that there needs to be a much better mobilisation to boycott and sadly it looks like there isn't the appetite by a significant chunk of the fanbase to do so. However, I'm not sure if the beginning of that season after Rafa left was necessarily as grim as people make out at the time. The team was likeable (admittedly down to Rafa if course) and with a record signing and ASM etc it wasn't exactly all doom and gloom. I wasn't impressed with Bruce and thought he'd be a failure but I didn't hate him particularly then, he just meant nothing. I think expecting people to boycott at that moment would have been a stretch. I'd like to think now he'd be getting absolute pelters from the fans and any boycott might have traction, but who knows?
  4. That's because you're a wum. Nothing wum about that post at all and plenty echo them sentiments as well. I take it you must be one of the donnay army continuing to feed Ashley and accept any old shit like Bruce Not biting wum
  5. The arbritation case agaisnt the PL not something positive or are you a closet optimist who needs constant reassurances? Well for me I’ll wait for the outcome of arbitration before I decide if it’s positive. If it fails it’s not exactly positive is it? I don’t particularly feel having this hangover out heads all season has really helped either You're doing it wrong - the thread is called positive optimism, not positive outcome.
  6. Well that's not true, barristers have no choice but to take on a case if instructed, there are only very limited circumstances where they can refuse and feeling they can't win is not one of them. You'd have to hope they'd give an honest appraisal of the chances of success. If they told Ashley he didn't have a decent case, would he have bothered progressing? Never know with him unfortunately
  7. I'd never seen a nose with fat rolls before this pic came out
  8. The bloke has a lifetime ban from the BBC tells you everything you need to know about Jacobs. A couple of podcasts later and he’s raising hopes and has fans giving him the attention he craves, personally wouldn’t trust one thing that bloke says. Why was he banned from the BBC? Edit - just saw the daily mail article. Bizarre
  9. Just let people, it's the point of the thread.
  10. All on injuries. ASM or Almiron get injured and we’re 100% down Agree with this, stay in the mix with no injuries until Wilsons back and we could have enough to get safe
  11. When has he had an alleged agreed 350 million price on the table? When we had two transfer windows and a full season ahead of us. That bid will not be on the table now, just like he upped the asking price in the summer, their valuation of the club will be lower now. Ashley has shown in the past that he'll gamble on us staying up rather than accept a lower offer. So you’re saying what I’m trying to say that no bid is on the table and is the exact reason why Ashley has not attempted one thing to guarantee safety as he would have if there had been. If this club is relegated there will be no takeover. No, I think there is probably some kind of bid still on the table (otherwise, why hasn't the loan between him and PCP been satisfied on Companies House?). I also think it's probably conditional on survival. I think that Ashley has not done one thing to guarantee safety because wants to pocket the full £350m and is willing to take the gamble that we could be relegated. Which is exactly what he did last season and the first time Staveley bid for the club. But I do agree that there will be no takeover if we go down because Ashley will again chose to gamble on us getting straight back up rather than reducing his valuation of the club. Still think if he knew he was getting a guaranteed 350m he would be doing more, in my personal opinion anyway as last season we were pretty safe after the Sheff Utd game at home and that no agreement was in place at any time during Steveley's original bid. I do agree on your second point though concerning relegation. Think his action was the new coach and to be fair it looked like it might have been enough. Problem is the lack of, or shit, investment is coming back to bite us - no decent cover for Wilson is what will do us. If he, Almiron and ASM were all fit, I'd be more optimistic of us staying up in spite of Bruce.
  12. You are a mad man there isn’t a chance Staveley & Ruebens will buy the club without PIF if they wanted to they’d have done so by now Why would they have done so by now? If they wanted to buy the club why wouldn’t they have? That’s 2 takeover attempts Staveley and Ruebens have been involved with. For whatever reason they don’t seem to want to go it alone Not saying I believe she and the Reubens want to go it together, but if they did Staveley might need the cash from her Barclays case.
  13. Stop saying Bruce has to go. As long as Ashley is here he will remain here. I’ll say what I like ffs Bruce will go when we are in bottom 3. Ashley will act eventually but just like bringing in Shearer & Rafa it’ll be too late Yes you are say lts of shits. Is that supposed to make sense? He means you say lots of shit.
  14. I don’t think there is a chance of a takeover and anyone who still believes must now surely accept it’s at least nowhere near close because Bruce would simply not still be here. 11 months and people still try to sell this as a matter of when not if. March is upon us and Bruce is still here and the gap is 3pts. Even if it was approved no one is going to pay £350m for a club on the cusp of relegation. This takeover is only happening in peoples heads. Now we are speaking some sense and home truths. Look forward to hearing the same thing tomorrow lads, keep it up. Ha, tomorrow...you'll be lucky. Loss tonight and it'll be a copy-paste jobby
  15. It’s got to be as they won’t be stupid enough to pay the asking price and Ashley has shown previously that he will gamble on keeping the club, thinking we will go straight up and he will get that price again. Think about it if the takeover was so close do you really think even Ashley would be gambling on relegation when he has a guaranteed price agreed? Could be different now as his retail operations must have taken a f*** off big hit. He might take the view that a guaranteed 200m now is better than a potential 300m but having to spend 50m a year to get it. Numbers made up obviously. And assuming PIF would want a champ club which I'm not convinced of anyway. So if that’s the case why hasn’t he took the steps to ensure we don’t get relegated if he has a guaranteed price and yet stands to lose half of that (no club in the championship will be bought for 200 million). He’s going to lose a lot more money if we go down and a takeover doesn’t happen as we could be down for a good few years. Screams to me nothing is happening. He will absolutely lose money if we do down, so letting us get relegated just because there isn't a takeover on the cards makes no sense either. Frankly, who knows what goes through his head. There is no good reason for him letting Bruce take us down, with or without a takeover.

    Rafa Benítez

How does letting the club be relegated protect his asset though?
  18. Their takeover is f*** all with the 3 stooges still having 40% Not if the person with 60% is happy to pump money in. Doesn't matter who owns s*** if money is available. Is that why he's already came out in an interview saying he will be working within the current payscales for the club. Doesn't sound like he's pumping in anything, You obviously read more about them than me. Was that wages or transfer fees? Edit - Actually, don't answer that. Why the fuck are we taking about Sunderland in the positive takeover thread

  20. Shit turns round so quickly but this was totally on the cards
  21. Is this that Fitzgerald nonce? Who you calling a nonce!? What is it if someone says something that hits a nerve they start shouting is that x y or z . Paranoid It hits a nerve because a lot of people in this forum were involved in the sports direct protests and the vast majority don't go to games etc. As a general fanbase maybe enough hasn't been done, but you're bitching about on here where that is bollocks. And sticking paranoid at the end is pure WUM
  22. "We deserve all we get". I don't, speak for yourself = wummery "So you think it's acceptable...." He didn't say that = wummery "PIF aren’t buying us. They walked away about 8 months ago now". = Massive wummery Some of your points are valid, some not but your posting style is pure wum. Suspect there's a very good reason you have turned up with a new account. As a general fanbase we deserve all we get I meant as we are far too soft. I don’t think many would disagree with that Also PIF did walk away. That’s fact. It isn't WUMery it is just saying what happened and straight to the point. We are soft as shit and plenty of other clubs would have ousted Ashley by now. Again, I don't think that is a comment many would disagree with. So you believe that PIF won't buy us if they get the greenlight through arbitration or a deal, and we don't get relegated?
