Ha ha! It’s mental how they go on about him! Imagine how they’d react if he came back under ambitious owners and won something?! Cheque-bewk manager marra
-
Nah, it'll be the "they've invested a lot since I left the club"
-
Go spit in his face Carra
-
He's officially head coach isn't he? Would love it if they brought a manager in above him....
-
Good at helping out at the back if the 5 isn't enough
-
He's been brought in to be a bit more than just a coach. He'll be the main man in the dugout by March I reckon. Bruce will be like that guy from the office who they end up moving in to the basement and stop paying. He'll just keep turning up and end up washing the kit and filling up the swimming bins.
-
"I'm doing exactly the same as Rafa did" He's such a dense wanker and you can't compare the 2. Rafa had a championship squad and turned it in to a solid premier League team. He got his top target Almiron and the future looked good. Bruce took those foundations and eroded them in 18 months despite a host of his own signings.

You weren’t. PIF said they’d withdrawn the offer to buy the club. So formally the deal is off. Until it’s on again. Nobody has any solid evidence it’s back on. Semantics they’re waiting in the wings to proceed and you f***ing know it. Semantics? It’s the current position man. Prove it isn’t. Nearly everyone wants this to happen but nobody knows if it will. All this talk of “not long now” is horse s***. Not one person who has commented so far knows. How is the deal dead when George Caulkin confirmed in the Athletic that the money was in the country ready to be transferred for the rebooted attempt 2.0 ? How is the deal dead when various journalists confirm they are waiting in the wings. Respected ones including Caulkin, Kennedy, Douglas and others ? How is the deal dead when they are lobbying politicians and more recently Bein ? How is the takeover dead when Mike Ashley is paying thousands for legal representation ? How is the takeover dead when NCSL have received confirmation that they are ready to go once approved, why would a bloke be wasting thousands to get Mike Ashley compensation ? I could go on but I really don’t think I need to. Get out of here you negative c***. Cos Bruce is gonna get us relegated and the Saudis will Foxtrot Oscar Seriously though, I'm sure they'll be back in once the way is clear, but I think it's too small fry for them to be sitting waiting anxiously for a result. Most of the work will be from the Staveley/Reuben side

Not Grealish, why would he know about Pulis? Think it’ll be De Leat or some other clogger Yup, De Leat iirc
-
It's bold but clever. How can the opposition plan to stop us when we don't know what we're doing ourselves??
-
I disagree Hes put his cards on the table, acknowledged the 3pm Friday wind up and is confident this is going to happen Even if its not tomorrow I'm fairly confident we are only a few days from massive news! He’s having you on man He always puts up the donation to foodbank bet to reel people in when he’s already admitted he was gonna donate regardless which full credit to him for donating So after almost a year he suddenly has a source in PIF. gullible He Talks Truth

This is also from the Athletic article... "Miguel Almiron and Joelinton, meanwhile, are players who “need to be given detailed, specific plans”, according to those who have worked with them" WTF - shouldn't all the players??? You read about Rafa and Klopp where each player is individually and specifically drilled and we get this shite.

Why do you ignore questions? Why do you care about what posters on here feel may or may not happen with this takeover? You don’t post in any other thread so what’s so special about this to make you care so much? What else is there to discuss about NUFC? Hendricks' pass completion rate? Bruce's bodyfat %? It's a zombie club - this is the only subject of any interest and, in my opinion, the position held by the majority of fans on it is incorrect, so I'm posting what I believe to be the case. In your opinion, do you think PIF will be back in if Ashley wins his case on the basis that the PL incorrectly didn't allow them to pass the test?
-
I can well believe PIF aren't necessarily involved in any legal wranglings and have backed away. I also believe that if the PL are found to have acted inappropriately in not approving the O&D test, then they'll be straight back in again. I assume at that point Ashley will drop his claim for damages and complete the sale.
-
The Saudi takeover of NUFC no longer exists as a going concern. Ashley is pursuing damages on the grounds of restraint of trade. No-one should give a shit whether he gets what he wants on that front. If Ashley wins that case by proving the PL were "wrong", does it not open up the takeover to proceed? If the Saudis are still interested If course. Is there any Staveley or Reuben brothers action at all?

I don't have an account. What thre sentence/paragraph that refers to the optional training ? “Given Bruce’s stern post-match rhetoric, some players were taken by surprise when the next day’s warm-down session remained “optional”. I think we all know who wants more days off and easy training too! “There are the usual training-ground gripes at Newcastle. Players out of the team are never happy. Some players want more days off, some want less, some want training to be focused, to train with a purpose, others prefer a lighter touch.l "Don't bother with the warm down lads" "Look, I won't make excuses but we've been desperately unlucky with our injuries"
-
You might have issues with people taking it knowing they might be pushed out if a takeover happens. No offence to the Brentford manager but would PIF spend X in summer and entrust it to an unknown quantity? Howe might seem someone that Ashley could live with and PIF might allow a shot in the mid-term if he turned things around nicely.
-
On one hand I wish fans were in the stands to give him shit, but on the other hand he'd blatantly use the "toxic atmosphere made it hard for the players" excuse. His whining about keyboard warriors gives absolutely no excuses for shit in the pitch. No hiding this is about him, not the players
-
Just scanned it and mainly a criticism of Ashley/Charnley etc. Does say how bad the football is but gives Bruce all the outs possible. It's all very wishy washy and you can tell how close he is to Bruce and Harper. He calls out the Sheffield game as "crap" but never really says why from our perspective, just that we let them play their game. Makes the point Bruce is head coach only at the beginning and then refers to manager throughout the rest of the article. All very much sympathy for Steve and how there are mitigations. No help from Charnley, everything falls on him etc. Didn't work on me
