His part in historical player ID here is hard to gauge (at least some to a lot), even if results have been good. At Bournemouth, when he had full control, recruitment was patchy—and he’s always had a blind spot with domestic players. We're in a transitional stage, with no sporting director, a weak data department and operating under a lot of pressure. This is how mistakes get made.
