  1. Oldtype is spot on, you'd have to have a massive set of blinkers or a serious obsession with Ben Arfa to think otherwise. Neither of which are in short supply on here must be said.

    John Carver

Did Pardew take the analyst with him in the end? God help us letting Carver loose on any sort of data. Not that the analyst seemed much cop either mind
  3. same, sat here thinking I should be annoyed but I'm not. I'll allow the Americans to use "could care less" here but not much less
  4. what is it with this club and quarterbacks ffs
  5. Amazing how we've gone from wanting to take anyone that isn't pardew to turning our noses up at mcclaren. hes not great but we could do a hell of a lot worse. Seems like a decent bloke, isn't a prick and can at least claim to be a decent manager.
  6. fuck hes jacked thought id opened the wrong twitter page
  7. INTERNATIONAL COCK OR BALL! IS IT COCK? OR IS IT BALL? need to get this on radio here, pilot on radio 4
  8. Not surprised at Nice at all tbh, was expecting some turkish outfit. Hull was his chance to show he could be arsed to turn his career round and get a move somewhere decent. Shame.
  9. It exists both ways that's clear, anti northern sentiments tend to be a bit more malicious however. Not to say they're widely held views but they spread a lot easier due to the media being mainly southern based.
  10. A roller coaster of a post. Wish I'd never even considered de boer going to be a massive come down
  11. colocini and sissoko will genuinely give me nightmares
  12. It's pretty grim like but I can't help but find it hilarious
  13. Quite apt really, he's being hit by shithouses of managers but is just taking it
  14. It's clear he has issues and is never going to reach his potential, which is in part down to himself. Matters have been made worse due to the fact he's been managed by two of England's finest*. Would've loved nothing more than to see him perform or even play regularly for us, for which I blame pardew mainly, but I don't see the need to defend him to the hilt just because he's been fucked around by pardew.
  15. Plenty have come back stronger and more appreciative of their careers because of it. We've seen the opposite of Ben Arfa. How so? When he came back he got his head down, worked hard and did what he was told. In fact weren't his two wonder goals post injury? And indeed the best football we've seen under Pardew? He's also rumoured to have punched as many managers as he's scored wonder goals post injury. Hardly a beacon of professionalism/doing what he's told.
  16. I suppose in a way hoping to win by sitting on our arse for 90 minutes is ambitious
  17. All footballers are working on their fitness. It's december.
  18. Yeah, he can press enter as often as he likes but there's nothing between those lines
